I literally walked into Target 10 minutes ago and purchased a Basic set. Got the Buy 2 games get one half off deal. I am the proud owner of NSMBU, Arkham City and Madden 13.

I was susprised by the general lack of insanity when I was out and about yesterday, I was expecting another Thunderdome scenario like when the Wii came out.

the only stores around me that have them are targets. And they have a ton of the deluxe and the basic.

That's good too, but since I get 15% off to start, I think mine was better.

Oddly, my local WalMart has a couple Deluxes. Small town Walmarts come in handy!

LOL! I hope not.

The ones I've seen don't really make it very clear that it's a new console and not just a new controller.

Does Sears still carry gaming stuff? If so people should check them out. Nobody ever shops there so things that normally sell out everywhere might be gathering dust for a bit.

There's none in my area stores but there are almost 200 listings for them on my craigslist. They are asking anywhere from 450-900.

There are a crapload of listings for the Wii U in my area too. One guy couldn't even wait to get home to list it. He took a picture of it thrown into his car's backseat and must have listed it from his phone.

And that guys name was Foxhound right? Face it the only reason they are all sold out in your area is because you bought all of them and are now trying to scalp them for $550 bones online just like you did with Skylanders.

I already sold one of mine for $500. I feel lucky.

Just looked at Target. They have some in stock all around San Antonio. Not that I have any interest in it at least as of right now... Just wanted to add to the conversation I've been reading.

"Is this the line for the Wii U?"

"Nah man, the last shipment of Twinkies comes in at midnight."

Lol, nice.

Man, the Twinkies were completely gone from every store I went to in the last week. If you want a quick buck, those will go faster. lol

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 19, 2012 3:48:43 PM PST
I thought about that too, but Sears is one of those stores that only carries about five or six of them. At least that's what the retail cashier said in their electronics department.
