The Simpsons is better, but the first two seasons of Family Guy are funny.

I'm sad that this can even be a debate.

SIMPSONS.

Come on man, this question isn't even fair.

Why?

Let's see, Family Guy had two decent seasons. I will give them that. Otherwise I can't even stand watching that show.

But on the other hand, The Simpsons had at least seven amazing seasons. And they still put out some good episodes here and there.

That's why its no contest.

Futurama is the best TV show ever.

While The Simpsons wins hands down there have been some hilarious episodes of Family Guy that make it watchable.

Archer.

Overall Simpsons, but both need the Old Yeller treatment imo. Family Guy's jokes fall flat 70% of the time and I'm sick of that idiot Homer making the same dumb mistakes and learning the same lessons he learned 5 or 10 seasons ago. Give me Futurama any day.

You better check under the sea,
'cause that is where you'll find me,

Underneath the water,
Sealab, at the bottom of the sea.

Apples to oranges, but overall I'd definitely say Simpsons.

Seasons 1-8 were consistently great.
Seasons 9-13 were hit or miss.
Seasons 14+ makes you wonder wtf happened.

On Family Guy, I'm not sure when Stewie and Brian became full-time avenues for Seth's political rants, but that's when Family Guy started to go down hill. There's still some good episodes here and there, though.

The Simpsons should have ended 10+ years ago. I wasn't aware people still watched it.

I enjoyed Family Guy's humor more, but I haven't found a reason to watch the show in some time.

Let me know when a good episode of South Park pops up. Otherwise, I'll be watching Archer, and catching up on shows I missed, like Frisky Dingo.

You mean other than 95% of the episodes from the last 13 seasons?

Neither for me. I don't really watch TV except for sports.
