What are you REALLY saying? That if the reviewer has a goofy sounding name, then it must not be taken seriously?
Because that's what I get.

I get all my review information from Comcast.net

You made the point that since the site was owned by a billion dollar corporation that it must not be a troll review or a review designed simply to get hits and I'm saying that's nonsensical. But you knew what I was saying. I finally stopped thinking you were stupid. Let's stay in this place a little longer.

I believe he is saying reviews are nothing more than an opinion, that may or may not match his opinion. He plays games and makes up his own mind as opposed to being a sheep. I could be wrong, but I believe that is his point. For instance maybe he loves Halo and couldn't give a crap what scores it gets? Just like you love Uncharted despite it not scoring as high as Mario Galaxy.

Comcast owns a gaming website?

Sorry for my post. Just wanted to vent in the most direct way possible. I use to enjoy the site and I do like the concept of having a bunch of reviews in spot so can find who's who and what.

It's just people's overreliance on it and the really nasty flame bombings that have been happening as of late (coughmasseffect3cough) really installed a chip in my shoulder about the site.

It's hilarious these publications are starting to diss Halo 4 for simply being Halo.

No, my point was that a gaming website owned by a multibillion dollar corporation was less likely to be biased when compared to some dude's blog.

While praising CoD and Madden. Yeah, I agree. IMHO, reviews have become pretty much worthless.

I don't know why people are so surprised by all of this. Kids that grow up hating things just because they are popular get older and become adults. Just look at Flores.

Sensationalism = Money. Anyone who has watched 5 minutes of television or picked up a newspaper in the last 20 years knows this.

And I disagree but that's fine. I'm sure we disagree on a great many things.

How have you supported this point? Increased revenue does not guarantee 'genuine' opinion....In fact, it often times has the exact opposite effect.

A review must contain some level of inherent bias, without such it ceases to be a review at all.

"87 is still better than all of the PS3's exclusives released this year."

Journey has a 92

Silly Wanda,

The rules are you cannot compare Arcade games to Retail games. You need to refer to page 134 of the 'Fanboy Argument Handbook'.

Journey at 92, IMHO, is laughable. The game is 2 hours long (maybe less) and quite frankly is boring. I didn't like it. Flower is so much better. Most will disagree with me, point being. Reviews are not more than opinions. Just because it is 'professional' doesn't mean it is some how better.

Damn it, I forgot.... ;~;

I wanna play it. I still haven't picked up my pre-order of the collector's edition.

John McClane says:
It's artsy and it's a Sony exclusive, so the score is inherently inflated.
