As long as it doesn't involved shooters, PS3 should able to dominate everything else.

Japan has serious spacing issues, which is why they have cool vending machines and we don't. They got them out of necessity. I'm sure they'll find their way here eventually.

That is awesome.

Japan, as they have done with many things, has managed to fetishize the vending machine.

That's awesome! The US needs more machines like those. It would be nice at this time of year to go and buy a pair of pre-warmed panties like they have there.

Yeah, it's pretty crazy. They had a vending machine that would scan you and offer selections that it thinks you would like. So if your wife sat down and you walked up to get her a drink it would show things that a guy would like (or what it assumes a guy would like.)

That is impressive, and convenient.

I hope you weren't applying those to me since I have never made either of those statements.

Ever been to Japan? I once got my shirt stained from ramen and I was able to buy another from a vending machine. Some of the vending machines there even have HD touchscreens.

Way to misconstrue the whole argument!

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 27, 2012 4:58:25 PM PST
I read it once on the internet.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 27, 2012 3:19:54 PM PST
Ah, I had forgotten about that. Fair enough but Dougy really did pull that argument out of there.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 27, 2012 3:19:01 PM PST
I have no idea why that was deleted as there was nothing aggressive, insulting or any violation of the forum rules (unless they got offended by something I copies from Dougy's post but his is still intact.

Weird.

It's ok. This is the argument.

Statement: PS3 has a lot of exclusives
Counter statement: Multiplats are better

Statements: Vita has many games
Counter statement: Vita is doom! they're mostly multiplats need exclusives

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 27, 2012 3:15:29 PM PST
How do you know?

You really like your talking point. Very predictable.

Many people in the start of the the 7th gen waited for the PS3 solely because of exclusives (MGS4, GT5, etc). I'm sure once they played the game they didn't enjoyed the game more because it was an exclusive. Their enjoyment comes from playing the game, that so happens to be playable only on a PS3. Just like I don't care that UC or MGS4 are exclusives but because they are exclusives then I would need a PS3 and because the PS3 has more of them (2009-Present) it only means more games/choices for me. But I can see how having more choices/games is a bad thing...Amirite?!

10? Pffft... amateurs have 10 consoles.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 27, 2012 3:00:03 PM PST
That's perfectly fine. We just happen to disagree on that.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 27, 2012 2:53:55 PM PST
As much as I love multiplats (some), I think that a lot of good exclusives is what makes a great console.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 27, 2012 2:52:40 PM PST
I guess that some people might think that way but I can honestly say in all my years of playing video games I have never once thought to myself that I am in the mood to play something that is an exclusive. I have also never encountered a game that was more interesting or more fun simply because of an exclusive status.

If I buy a modern console it's because I want to play games with friends/family who also own that console or so I can have the best version of a game (if that is the case.) If a game has something to interest me then I'll play it. I honestly never went to a store or browsed Amazon for games and then suddenly felt the need to check and see if it is an exclusive.
