People like to go to shooting ranges, ammo purchase quantities isn't the best gauge of "this guys going to rampage".

I think I'm blind. I can't see. There's too much steam in here .. from all of the ironing.

Do you bring your own ammo to a shooting range or does the range supply it for a fee? Is that something that might vary from state to state?

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 17, 2012 7:23:45 AM PST
That's your default "defense" for when you know everyone else it right and you're wring.

So buy it at the shooting range and it can't be taken off the premise except under 20 bullets. Sounds like an easy fix to me. I flat out don't think anybody needs 200+ bullets sitting around at home. :)

I would definitely agree with this.

He brings his own Mog! Why would he use nanny ammunition provided at the shooting range.

I think it's Seanintheoc/Moultonhawk again, he's bad at basically everything. I'd much rather argue with D_Strasse about this kind of thing.

That's cute. Except I've actually backed up everything I've said with facts.

And you're really bad at this.

I didn't mean it as an accusatory type of statement, I've just haven't shot a gun at a gun range and wasn't sure how it works.

I lost whatever respect I had left for Strasse in this thread.

"But it seems like the United States is using prison as the solution of choice for mentally ill people...our society, with its stigma on mental illness and its broken healthcare system, does not provide us with other options."

Thank you for posting this article.

Prolly depends on the range, but I know around here that most buy before and bring it to the range.

You all go ahead and keep living in your gun free world and when you or someone you love is victimized (God forbid) by someone with a gun, if you survive, I don't think you'll be singing the same tune.

Other than something I read that said this dude had Aspergers ... has anyone said he had a mental illness? And I'm only asking because I've been avoiding all the media coverage of it.

Except by limiting it to buying on site you run the risk of having sports-game beer prices. And it really isn't that hard to go through a LOT of rounds in an afternoon at the range.

They don't "provide" anything - it's like any other establishment that might sell you supplies.

Okay. Whatever you say.
