There is talk of a Boy Meets World sequel series coming to Disney Channel. It will be called Girl Meets World, and will focus on Cory & Topanga's daughter.

I for one am a huge Boy Meets World fan (have the complete series on DVD), and am super excited to see what comes of this.

What are your thoughts? Would you watch it? Did you like the original series? What show/s would you like to see get a sequel series?

If they could recapture the wonder of the first season, I'd be down. If it's just gonna be a continuation of the TGIF wangst from the latter seasons, no thanks.

That show was really great. I would love to see all the characters again. And yes Danielle Fishel is still hot. I was her on E a couple of times.

I liked the Wonder Years more for my coming of age series.

YES! WE DEMAND MINKUS!

He should be their kid's teacher.

You were her? Wow! How did you accomplish something like that? Was it black magic or mad science? Or was it just boring old cross dressing?

No offense, I know that was just a typo.

Negative. I loved me some Boy Meets World but the daughter would have to be in her early teens. I'd feel way too creepy watching it.

I don't know, if it was their younger kid and they already had an older, it wouldn't be so bad.

oh hold up.....it's gonna be on Disney Channel? i only watch that channel now for phineas and ferb....will watch it for Danielle only

Gravity Falls is a pretty good reason. I don't have cable myself, so I watch it with my eyepatch on. Yarrr.

Yeah that might be watchable. I already watch Avengers and Spider-Man on Disney.

Now if Cartoon Network would just start showing Young Justice again then I'd be all set.

Gravity Falls is, according the Wired, the "smartest cartoon on television."

Not so sure I'd be interested in this. I mean, it sounds like it'd basically be Boy Meets World, but now the characters have cell phones and social media. That said, enough time has passed between the end of the series and now. It could probably grab a new audience.

Wired knows what they're talking about. That show is amazing. I <3 it. Aki showed it to me and said, "Look! These kids are just like we were when we were kids! You were bookish and a conspiracy theorist and I was CRAZY!"

No worries. But it would be do to black magic.

See, that I would be okay with. As long as (per my first post) they recaptured what they had with the first season, and not the wangsty BS from the latter seasons.
