Is it really fair to the real girls to make them have to let a boy use their bathroom?
Maybe they don't care now, but it's very likely some of them will in a few years.
Letting him/her use the nurse's room is a fair compromise. It's not implying he's sick. And it really can't be denied that he's not like most kids. That doesn't mean he's bad or wrong in any way, but to ignore that he's different can be harmful too.

My thoughts exactly.

His argument is he is a real girl. Like Pinocchio, but not.

Side note: Holy eff, I spelled "Pinocchio" correctly first time out. I had to google it to make sure, lol.

Such irony there. I get he wants to be a girl, but the fact is he isn't.

Congrats on Pinocchio, I would have eff'ed that all up.

I'm making my own petition, "Make everyone dump in the woods for crying out loud". I'm also accepting cash. Just because

"Such irony there."

Those were just my choice of pronouns. The family panders to this kids transgenderness and uses appropriate pronouns, even going so far as to say they have 5 daughters instead of 4 daughters and 1 son.

Yeah I get all that, but still the kid isn't a girl. He just isn't. I'd be pissed if I took some girl home from the bar and it turned out she had a penis. Sure I'd make the best out of a bad situation, but still I'd want my money back from false advertising.

BTW, Putzu will downvote us into oblivion with his alters. It really, really isn't me downvoting you.

To him. Let him know that no matter what he chooses in life they'll always accept and love him, but don't make him think that this is the way the world works. If he lives his life as a girl but is physically a boy, he could get in some very dangerous situations when he's older.

In reply to an earlier post on Mar 6, 2013 1:23:53 PM PST
That poor kid.

I can see why some people don't want to act like guys are supposed: Mean, cruel, heartless, angry individuals.

In reply to an earlier post on Mar 6, 2013 1:28:07 PM PST
To her you mean?

If people can't accept and support her for who she is... they're not worth her time. And those that could be dangerous to her should be avoided... but she shouldn't have to live her life as someone she's not because some scum bags have issues.

In a perfect world, absolutely.
But we can't ignore that these people exist just because we don't like them.

I accept he has a penis, does that count? The problem is, he is a boy. Biologically/scientifically he is a boy. That isn't an opinion, but a fact.

In reply to an earlier post on Mar 6, 2013 1:36:57 PM PST
But, mentally, he is a girl.

I don't see why guys not wanting to be guys is an issue.

Mentally, I want to be able to fly, but I'm not going to wear a cape and ask people not to laugh when I "woosh" past them.

Keller says:
It is only an issue when boys want to do things meant for girls. Such as competiting in the Olympics as a girl, WNBA, LPGA, using the girls room, etc. Mentally aside, that doesn't change the facts. He is a boy. I can't mentally claim to be a minority and benefit from affirmative action.

In reply to an earlier post on Mar 6, 2013 1:40:35 PM PST
Guess what, I want to fly as well, but I'd much be like Batman than Superman.

But I still don't see why a guy wanting to be a girl is an issue.

In reply to an earlier post on Mar 6, 2013 1:41:16 PM PST
So what, who gives a crap about what he chooses to do?

In reply to an earlier post on Mar 6, 2013 1:41:16 PM PST
MrFoxhound says:
It's not an issue. The issue is asking the world to accommodate him/her.

In reply to an earlier post on Mar 6, 2013 1:42:20 PM PST
I think we should just accept him/her for what he/she is.

It's not who you are that defines you, but what you do that defines you.
