awesome sale.

i'm thinking Witcher 1, Alan Wake, Alan Wake AM, not familiar with the others.

That's a fantastic deal. I already have all the games I'd want from that list, but what a great deal for those who don't!

There are quite a few great games on that list. If I didn't already own the 5-6 I would've bought, I'd have jumped on it. :D

I enjoy these two the most:

Legend of Grimrock is a fantastic old school dungeon crawler with a map editor and a lot of user-made content.

Divinity 2 is a pretty good RPG. I think it's one of Strider's favorite games and there's a ton of content in this one. You get the original: Ego Draconis, and the expansion set.

Divinity 2 is a WRPG that lots of people seem to really like. I haven't played the game yet, but I have it and have played the demo. There's a demo in Steam if you want to try it out. The demo sold me on the game.

Legend of Grimrock is a dungeon-crawler RPG that also seems really cool.

Tiny & Big is a cool 3D puzzle platformer.

And I haven't played Deponia yet, but folks who like adventure games seem to enjoy this one.

thanks guys.

i'll probably get Divinity 2 and maybe Tiny & Big. i already have LoG. just add them to my other 100 steam games i haven't played.

are these steam codes?

In reply to an earlier post on Mar 12, 2013 5:05:15 AM PDT
Nope, you download them straight from Gog.com, DRM free.

but i like steam DRM!

In reply to an earlier post on Mar 12, 2013 5:12:10 AM PDT
Could always add them as "non-steam" games.

In reply to an earlier post on Mar 12, 2013 5:14:55 AM PDT
WeaKeN says:
yep that's what i'll do.

whenever i add a non-steam game, sometimes it will just disappear. for example, guild wars 2 does that to me a lot. if i add a non-steam game, and it goes away, i'll probably not even notice and completely forget i even have it.

i saw my steam has updated several times over the past week so maybe that issue was resolved.

GW2 does that because Steam removes it when the .exe is replaced after a GW2 patch. It's basically a new GW2.exe and has to be added again.

That's why I have 10 GW2 steam folders for screenshots. It's annoying, but there isn't any way around it. Blame Arenanet, hehe.

ah i see. that makes sense.

DRM is da coolest!

I'd also recommend Telltale's Back to the Future: The Game if you are at all interested in point-and-click adventure games. At $1 an episode, that's a great deal.

How far did you get in Grimrock, beat it?

I thoroughly enjoyed the previous 5 bundle sale, so I might take advantage of this one too.

Curses. I already own the two games I would most want to get in this bundle (TW and D2); they're both significantly less than the price I paid; and I still haven't played either.

I don't suppose GOG price matches itself? Like if I happened to buy Divinity 2 for $10 a little under a month ago...

xP

Anyway, how likely are new games to be added to the bundle as time goes on? There's a couple things in here that I would definitely like to own at these prices, but then the rest would just be filler.

You need to play The Witcher sooner as opposed to later.

In reply to an earlier post on Mar 12, 2013 12:22:29 PM PDT
Seems cool but nothing I'm interested in. Thanks for the ref.

In reply to an earlier post on Mar 12, 2013 12:23:43 PM PDT
I'm about 60-70% of the way through it. I'm terrible about completing games. :D

In reply to an earlier post on Mar 12, 2013 12:24:24 PM PDT
They usually don't add. When they run bundle sales they're pretty static.

In reply to an earlier post on Mar 12, 2013 12:29:48 PM PDT
So I shouldn't bother waiting?

And sorry to go OT, but are you still checking in the tabletop RPG thread? We're talking about maybe starting a second game to deal with times when Daft (or whoever else happens to be important at the time) can't do his thing.

Divinity 2 is probably the best open world WRPG this gen.

I have the same dilemma - three games I'd want, but really don't want to pad out the rest with filler just for the discount.

@Tron
I've got both Witcher games in the backlog. The shame is great, but I plan to get to them in the next few months.

They're so great, I'm sure you'll love them. Be sure to play them before The Witcher 3 hits next year!
