Remember 2 weeks ago when we had a hurricane and last week when we had a blizzard and right now when it's sunny and 65?

It seems like the only consistent aspect of weather is that it is inconsistent.

Yeah it's gorgeous outside right now in NY.

That Emu Kid says:
No. It's been like 80 here for the last two weeks. Last night it rained and dropped down to the 60's, I think.

It's so depressing around here that I might actually have to... have to... Sing.

Singing? In the rain? Unheard of!

It was in the 50's yesterday, and feels like 10 and is lightly snowing today, it's so weird.

Oh wait, I'm in WI, that's normal.

Dont worry guys, it'll all be over in a month (supposedly)

I still haven't seen that movie. I never found a convenient time to see it.

Ice King says:
Aside from the snow, which I only didn't like because the roads weren't even sanded so driving was a nightmare, I loved the cold weather last week. I can't stand warm weather.
Yes, it's partly because I'm America sized, but also because I just like the comfort of being inside on a cold day. On a warm, or hot, day there just isn't that sense of comfort when looking outside.

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 12, 2012 9:12:00 AM PST
They didn't sand/salt here either since it was above freezing by the morning so there wasn't really a point.

Ice King says:
Same here, but those few hours when it was snowing pretty heavy and everyone was trying to get home were pretty scary. Even though I'm used to driving in the snow it was still a stressful ride home and I fishtailed a few times even though I was going fairly slow.

LOL! I wasn't even thinking of my screen name when I wrote that. I guess it fits even better than I thought.

It was in the 60s over the weekend which was great. Today it plummeted down to the low 30s. It was supposed to snow overnight but it apparently did not, which makes me happy. I really should get my car's ABS fixed before it snows. Or finally get rid of my beater and get a new(er) used car.

I had a foot of snow in my yard Thursday morning, it was almost entirely gone yesterday. Crazy weather.

Thanks for the succinct summation, MrFoxhound. People need to stop cherry-picking their beliefs based on politics. There is new and stronger evidence that most of the warming observed over the last 50 years is attributable to human activity.

Nuh uh! Da Gubbermints tells me otherwise!

http://arstechnica.com/staff/2012/10/editorial-meet-a-science-committee-that-doesnt-get-science/

"Take the Committee's chair, Texas' Ralph Hall. When asked about the evidence that humans were altering the climate, Hall replied, "I don't think we can control what God controls." When it was pointed out to him that the National Academies of Science disagreed with his position, Hall basically accused them of being in it for the money. "They each get $5,000 for every report like that they give out."

His evidence? "That's just my guess. I don't have any proof of that.""
