I actually don't care for Five Guys fries. Too soggy.

Heh true that.

JJ4prez says:
Well too soggy is dependent on how they actually got soggy. If you order it to-go and drive 15 minutes to your house - they might be a little soggy. Same with Wing Stop's fries.

So apparently I need to go to JM Curley for one of the best burgers as I'm being told by a friend. Anyone ever try it?

That's that Hawaiian burger joint. I hear they got some tasty burgers. I ain't never had one myself. How are they?

Yes. Plus those huge bags of french-fries just puts the icing on the cake.

They have frosted fries?

That sounds like something a girl has when you kick her out of your apartment immediately after sex.

Frankenzubaz says:
There's this local place that has the crappy fries (fresh off the Sysco truck, as I say). But they redeem them by hitting them with a dusting of Old Bay seasoning.

That Emu Kid says:
I mean they are soaked all the way through with grease and not crispy, even when fresh.

JJ4prez says:
Weird, yeah they aren't going to have crispy fries. They are pretty thick.

Wing Stop has killer fries.

What "huge" bags 0 fries??? I've only gotten fries in a dixie cup @ 5 guys!!!

You're crazy. Bacon is the candy of meats.

I have tried Wing Stop, and their fries are very interesting what with all the sugar they put on them. I like 'em, but the wife doesn't.

Carls Jr = Western Bacon Cheeseburger = Heaven

I moved from California to Illinois and was sad to find out that there are no Carls Jr's around here and that Hardees doesn't have the same menu. Everytime I go back to Cali to visit my folks I always go straight to Carl's to get the Western Bacon Cheeseburger. Their chili fries are also great but a bit greasy.

If you don't live on the West Coast 2 other decent burger options are: Red Robin, and Applebee's. They both make decent burgers but nothing as great as Carl's.

It begins and ends with In-N-Out Burger.

It makes me sad that so many people say Five Guys. Their fries are great but their burgers don't really have a taste. Very blah.

JJ4prez says:
They do put a little sugar - you can get them done different ways I think.

JJ4prez says:
I agree with this.

NO taste in the meat.

Have you tried Culver's? They're all over Wisconsin, Illinois and some of the surrounding states.

It makes me sad that some people list a fast food joint at all when talking about best burger they've ever had.

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 12, 2012 12:10:50 PM PST
That Emu Kid says:
Apparently you can get them in cajun and lemon pepper varieties. I haven't tried those, though.
