I was hoping another Braum's nog fanboy would be able to validate my claim. I think I'll pick up a couple jugs on my way home from work in the morning.

I have to agree Braums does make a solid Egg Nog. Also If you are in central Missouri, Central Dairy makes a great Egg Nog. In fact almost everything Central dairy makes is awesome, and it spoiled me.

Home Fried says:
I like eggnog, but preferably mixed with brandy because it thins it down a bit.

Mmmmm I love eggnog. I don't love drinking a glass of it and then spending the following six to eight hours in the bathroom because I'm lactose intolerant.

No, I think it's disgusting. Give me my liquor straight up, not swimming in an eggy mess.

Wife brought home a quart of disgusting Pumpkin Spice Eggnog. I drank better than half of it today. It's like they say about oysters: "It's just like swallowing snot!"

Most store bought eggnog is crap. However, if you're in Oklahoma or within a certain radius of Braum's headquarters (I think there's a couple in western Arkansas and northern Texas), then you're lucky enough to buy the best store bought eggnog on the planet. I absolutely love the stuff. I also love my booze, but I hate alcoholic eggnog. I take it straight up. Like my sex.

Store bought eggnog is terrible.

Homemade eggnog is fantastic.

There's really no middle ground.

Hell yeah. Brandy + cinnamon + nutmeg + eggnog = some good holiday times.

DukeNole says:
Southern Comfort Spiced Eggnog (it doesn't have alcohol, it's in the dairy section of your grocer) + Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum = solid holiday drink. Can't drink them all night though - even when cutting the eggnog with lots of alcohol, they're a little rich.

Pumpkin spice Eggnog is really good. Regular nog is okay.

OP says:
It's okay in small portions and not completely chilled, but it seems to be a bit heavy otherwise.

It's ok. I can have a small glass once every few years. My Mom likes it though.

I know how you feel. It drives me crazy when I start a topic and see that I made some stupid typo that I can't edit.

From one grammar Nazi to another: I feel your pain. That's why I edited my original post.

It's OK in small doses but I'm not really a fan. Last year at Christmas we had hot chocolate with eggnog ice cream in it and that was actually pretty good.
