Don't forget about the possible loss of humanity.

So Nintendo's E-shop is like Dark Souls? It's difficult, requires exploration, but hard work will give great rewards.

Nintendo makes you work for those demos.

You haven't downloaded it yet!? What are you waiting for? You have to do a search for Rayman Legends in the eShop to get to it. In typical Nintendo fashion, the eShop doesn't even have a section for demos, or even a front-page link to Rayman Legends.

I just want more Rayman! This is going to be my first WiiU preorder.

Only do it if you don't mind anxiously awaiting the release. It's great and will be the first title to hit the console that makes the cost worthwhile imo.

Crap! I have to download the Legends demo when I get home tonight!

Soulshine says:
Maybe not stupid-hard, but some of the bosses are much easier with a co-op buddy because you can revive each other instead of starting over.

It is a brilliant level and very very fun.

That single level completely sold me on the franchise and a Wii U.

Btw I recently played the Wii-u demo where the whole level is in tune with hey black betty, so awesome.

Holy crap I was about to do this exact post word for word

"How is the difficulty."

Depends on what you're trying to accomplish. Just getting through the levels provides a decent challenge, but is totally doable. I'm trying to get all the little electoons on each level (anywhere from 3-6, depending on the level). That is MUCH more difficult to do. Then there's all the time trials and medals...those take even longer and are even more difficult.

Hey says:
I didn't think it got that hard. It got harder but never rage-quit hard.

Ok, doesn't this game get stupid hard near the end?

That is a great game, and I don't even like platformers. Enjoy it!

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 19, 2012 4:08:09 PM PST
You won't be disappointed. This game was selling for sick prices right after launch, so I figured I'd give it a try. After playing it, I can honestly say that I wouldn't have minded paying full retail for it. It's that good. The fact that the sequel is coming on Wii-U was a major reason to get a console at launch.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 19, 2012 3:44:08 PM PST
Most definitely. Rayman Origins is probably the best platformer I've ever played.

Glad you bought it!

Great co-op if your wife is into platformers, too!

Benpachi says:
Eh, I definitely would not call it easy. I'd say it is harder than any 2D Mario game, but it's not as bad as DKC Returns. The learning curve is pretty much perfect, it starts off easy and gets harder as it should. There are several shmup levels mixed in throughout the game too, but they are a breeze.

Now, if you want to play the true final level, that definitely takes some serious platforming skill to unlock and to complete.

Hey, if you're going for completionist, Lego games can be up there a little bit. don't be throwing around the carebear title with those.

Posted on Dec 19, 2012 2:45:09 PM PST
I'd say the difficulty is perfect. It's easy enough to beat, but challenging to get 100%

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 19, 2012 2:41:25 PM PST
If you want easy you should go for the Lego games.
