I guess I hated Space Jam, even as a kid.

I didn't really like it but I dislike Owen Wilson in pretty much everything. Would have been a fun movie with someone else.

Transiberian made a big stink for a short time, then disappeared. not in my top 5, but worth the watch anyway.

That Emu Kid says:
It does not. It has been added to my blockbuster queue, though.

In reply to an earlier post on Jan 16, 2013 10:48:15 AM PST
That was actually NBC, not HBO.

You can tell it's not HBO because there isn't nudity every other scene.

Speaking of HBO - an older great show that used to air that not a ton of people have watched was Mr. Show. OMG I love that shiz.

Another person that's seen Cop Out! It's nice to know I'm no longer alone in this world.

It's so passed over that not even HBO has the show on their HBO Go selection.

It was a great freakin show however.

AmbientGreen says:
Igby Goes Down (Widescreen): Kieran Culkin is actually GOOD in this movie. Who knew, the kid actually can act. Reminded me of a modern day Holden Caufield caught in a downward spiral of depravity. Enjoyed it a lot.

This Boy's Life: Loosely based off the life of Tobias Wolff and his book. Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro (who plays his stepfather) are sensational in this. Seeing a glimpse of Tobias Wolff's childhood on the silver screen was gripping and fascinating. Ellin Barkin was also great as his mother, which made for a great cast. Loved it.

Let It Ride: Richard Dreyfuss and David Johansen are hysterical in this flick. If any of you enjoy gambling, or more to the point like playing the ponies, then you will readily identify and enjoy this film. This movie genuinely made me laugh from beginning to end, as I could relate to some of the scenarios that happened.

State of Grace: This is some vintage Gary Oldman playing a crazy Irishman that is fearless and part of the Irish Mafia. If you like mobs flicks, this is an excellent movie to watch if you've never seen it before. Strong cast, with Sean Penn as the lead, Ed Harris as the head honcho, and John C. Reilley in a lesser supporting role. The climax of the ending is worth the price of admission here. For me, it's all about Gary Oldman and Ed Harris in this one - both of them as brothers in the Irish Mob. They are sensational. I enjoyed this movie immensely, and don't hear much talk of it.

Falling Down: Michael Douglas is a very believable man down on his luck, that just completely loses his marbles due to life circumstances. I had sympathy for his character, as life just tossed him one too many curveballs. Others might see it differently. This is one of those kind of movies that is something different, and you can't stop watching the train wreck as it happens before your eyes. Great flick, vastly underrated.

Other notables already mentioned by others that I loved: Stranger Than Fiction, Layer Cake, and Snatch (classic as far as I'm concerned).
