Not a bad game. Controls feel like Dead Space and story is kinda crazy. Voice acting is okay some of the dialogue is funny. Seems like it shouldn't take too long to finish either.

Whoops, posted in the wrong thread.

Does "OT" stand for on-topic in this instance? ;)

Having played through it this year, I'd firmly place it in the "not a bad game" category. I'd give it a 7/10 or so. Controls and gameplay were just so-so, but the humor was goofy and fun.

OP says:
Pretty good game overall, but I really disliked both the chase sequences and the shmup stages.

It's in my backlog. This thread makes me want to get to it soon.

I thought it was fantastic...played through 3 times and got 1000 gamerscore on it. Anyone who doesn't agree can suck a Big, Hot Boner.

Decisions, decisions...

But, you can only suck a Big, Hot Boner in certain chapters. Otherwise, it's just a Hot Boner.

Earlier it's just a Boner. You've got to earn that Hot Boner.

I had to look up Suda 51:

I had Killer7 for PS2, but I never played it.

pretty lame game. Get ready for a lackluster/repetitive ride with beavis and butthead humor

Yeah this is an awesome game and loved all the homages/reference they make to different horror films. I also didn't like the shmup stages as I was looking forward to an awesome boss battle instead they turned it into a mediocre shmup challenge.

Overall though, liked the story, and hope they make a sequel.

I actually quite enjoyed the paper levels. The first time it happened I cracked up. It was a nice change of pace in the game and completely unexpected.

*spoiler-ish*

I thought the paper levels were orignal and creative but the only problem I had is that I was really looking forward to battling the female demon in the normal way but they turned that battle into a shmup too and she was kinda easy. Just thought that was kind of a wasted opportunity.

When I hear Johnson talk, I picture his voice actor is Jude Law and it makes the game better.

The combat isn't too difficult and I love upgrades. The King of the Demons guy is funny. He has just enough dousche in him to make me dislike him on a personal level. Feeding baby faces to open doors is strange, but amusing. Whats up with the Pyramid Head looking things though? Totally thought they were making fun of Silent Hill when they introduced them.
