Last night, some guy with bleeding eyes at a bookstore greeted me with a "Do you read Sutter Cane?" I realize I live in a big city, but this is reality, not some world ending apocalypse or any some book brought to life by ancient gods. Our first language is sanity and i expect to be greeted in my country's sane language, not unspeakable horrors. If I were in Hobbs End, I could understand being greeted like this. I felt very disrespected. What is happening to our wonderful country?

Punch is the snoot is all you can do in this case.

In the Mouth of Madness

It's from this. Somewhat obscure, I know.

I hate it when I go out sailing and I'm greeted by a giant green monstrosity who asks me "Cthulhu f'taghn?" Something about it just drives me mad, to the point of insanity. All I wanted to do was sail, why must I be accosted so?

(also, great Lovecraftian movie you pulled that from)

I found that movie very scary when I was a kid. I watched a lot of horror, but for some reason that one really creeped me out. The old lady in the inn w/her husband in basement (shivers)

Not really that obscure. I got it.

Edit: Well my idea of obscure might be skewed as I'm a huge Carpenter fanboy.

I was greeted by a "Come up with an original post!" I realize I live in the VGF where we have more trolls than the Golden Gate Bridge. But our first language is recycling memes. I felt very disrespected. What is happening to our wonderful forum?

There's only one Golden gate bridge......

Oh really? So Lord Cthulu had time to acost you from the depths, but not enough time to help me shop for furniture for the Lycaem of the Screaming Mind? I'll bet you he stopped for a burger too because he was NOT hungry for the dinner I worked so hard on.

Sam Neil was in a lot of awesome movies that don't get the respect that they deserve. Event Horizon was even better, and it was only on here that I found others that liked it.

I think the first one got all of the respect that it deserved. I still say that Event Horizon was equal, at least, to this. This was the movie to watch when was waiting for release of the original Dead Space.

Lol, Aquaman vs. Cthulu would be an epic comic.

Not a comic, or Cthulu, but pretty close: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PazniAXT-70 (FUN FACT: Rob Zombie provided the voice for "Ixthultu" )
