Same. Maybe not 1000's, but I've got a bunch of cool stuff that aint worth a dime (well, maybe a dime, but that's about it).

I've got quite a few "treasures" in my collection. I have Dark Alliance II, Suikoden I-V all in great condition, the black label of all FF games for the PS1, the relatively rare PS1 Valkyrie Profile in mint, and a bunch of other stuff like that Master Quest disk and the steelbook LE for FFXII that has that Final Fantasy retrospective on it. I've been buying everything from Atlus as well, but there's no way I'd sell any of those.

started collecting it when the 2600 was in swing. other than all of the old gaming mags my oldest collectibles may be the Activision patches they would mail you if you sent them a photo of your high score.

J. Arthur says:
Could not agree more. The Sky FF set is amazing. Considering that only 1000 were made, it is also very valuable.

J. Arthur says:
Also, most collectors want sealed copies of these games and many will only buy if they have been graded by VGA. Some VGA graded games can be worth a small fortune.

PacinoBully says:
Getting your games graded is the dumbest thing ever. Who ever thought of the idea of grading collectables is swimming in his money and laughing.

I'm keeping my sealed Xenoblade copy to the grave, or some Ebayer can pry it from my cold, dead hands!

Grave robbing is my favorite kind of robbing.

I would rather steal from babies. Preferably candy.

Really? You're telling me that you wouldn't want John Larroquette's spine?

I still have my CE Oblivion with the cloth map and Septim coin still in mint condition.

Fox...robbing graves? Those things weigh a ton, don't they?

MrFoxhound says:
I thought the Oblivion CE came with a paper map.

Mine didn't. It's like my CE Dragon Age map.

I can't even remember where I bought it, probably Best Buy.

MrFoxhound says:
I think there was a cloth map preorder bonus for Skyrim at Best Buy, but I don't remember anyone giving away a cloth map for Oblivion, and it definitely wasn't part of the CE.

My Septim coin came in a separate plastic baggie as well, which has never been opened. And my History of Tamriel book has a different cover than his in that video.

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 15, 2012 10:13:01 AM PST
MrFoxhound says:
Yeah, the coin in the baggy was normal. I never removed mine either.

And now that everyone knows, these things went up in value by 1000%.

I've got all the Suikodens (why oh why won't they put the rest on PSN), Valkyrie Profile, and Dark Alliance II. Not sure about Metal Gear, that might be in the box too. Oh, and the black label Final Fantasies, got all those for PSX too. Nice to know all that money spent wasn't a waste, not that I plan to sell anything.

We also have several of the gold cartridge Zelda games.

I have the MGS HD Collection LE for PS3. I opened it but the Art Book and Box are sitting in my closet. Practically New. Hopefully its worth something one day. I really want to get Hideo to sign the Art Book.

Well I just found out another treasure. I just happen to look in my closet sometime last week and I found this

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0015PFX38/ref=sr_1_18_olp?ie=UTF8&qid=1353011371&sr=8-18&keywords=castlevania&condition=new

Didn't know it would be worth anything until looked it up today. Mine isn't sealed though. I don't remember it ever being sealed. Still in perfect condition though.
