Kevin Beirne says:
Very effing weird.

Example:

I see on the lame newsfeed a friend of mine shared a link, there is a photo of a bowl of raspberries and a statement - allegedly - typed by my friend stating: You should try this out I've lost 15 pounds in two weeks.

I see that the photo was posted like 15 minutes earlier - and it already had like 47 likes. Said it was posted from California. My friend lives in Illinois. All of the comments were very generic like, "my friend tried that two - and she lost 25 pounds in three weeks!".

The final clue was that it had my friends name listed as her first and last name. Currently on her profile she has her middle name first, and first name last.

So yeah, Facebook Big Brother is all postin stuff talkin about how she lost 15 pounds in two weeks....

That is just a tidbit of Facebook weirdness....Posting others events and having an option for you to RSVP without an invite...

The one off fake profiles with stark raving hotties is pretty rampant too...also on dating sites not that I know anything about those.

Yeah, although I don't really go for the perfectly straight bill myself, I think its a pretty snazzy look for a lot of people. "

I have to disagree, every single person that wears a hat this way looks like a moron. They may not be, but they sure look like it.

If you're already wearing sunglasses, the purposes of the cap are mainly cosmetic, anyway. Curving the bill allows it to still block light if the sun isn't high in the sky. You can't really curve the bill of a 59/50 hat, though. They're not sewn in a way that allows for it. The bills are much shorter than a real baseball cap and cover more of the diameter.

Not probably, it does (depends on earths angle to the sun really). Plus it fits the shades better - especially the ones that have the flip lens (good for outfielders).

Yeah, although I don't really go for the perfectly straight bill myself, I think its a pretty snazzy look for a lot of people. Also, I agree with JJ that the straight bill actually probably enhances rather than hinders its eye-shading capabilities.

I played baseball for 14 years, all through out high school and could have went to college ball. We all mostly wore our hats with a straight bill - usually blocked more sunlight and was easier to wear with certain types of sunglasses. I believe you ruin the hat if you curve it.

So a fresh, clean, new, straight billed hat is sort of like a brand new un-opened game for some of you. I just like it. But I take the stupid gold/black size sticker off.

I'm friends with 2 real hotties, and one is friends with a lot more who don't have their accounts set to private hehe

It's a status symbol... part of the "it's cool to have brand loyalty and show off the fact you can buy nice things" trend. It's not enough to wear things that look nice or have good crafstmanship. You have to leave the labels and stickers on them so that other people know you bought something expensive.

I honestly hate the flat-bill baseball cap trend. I think it looks dum and hinders the purpose of having a bill in the first place.

I buy 59/50's but I take off the stupid gold sticker. I don't know why people leave them on.

Yep. It's stupid to me. I bought a New Era hat the other day, and I took the stickers and tags off right at the register because I wanted to wear it, and the employee looked at me like I was crazy and said "oh man, you don't wanna do that." I looked him straight in the eyes and emphatically said "uh, trust me, yes I do."

That is one of my biggest pet peeves...the 59 50 hats with the damn stickers. Who made that cool? It looks completely ridiculous.

Haha thats pretty good. The top 2 have only recently been a trend. At least in my experience. I just started noticing people like your first line this week. FB has gotten a lot weirder and a lot creepier over the years.
