M. says:
So you have no problem buying a console for $600 that you can't play used or ps3 games on?

Looks like you lose bro.

John McClane says:
Lol Sony's strategy is to release PS3 games as HD collections next gen, the PS4 is going to be a dud.

I. Flores says:
PS3 games are already in HD, derp.

M. McFly says:
McClane are you saying Uncharted 1-3 trilogy is going to be the ps4 launch game?

Kaitlin M. says:
God I hope this isn't true. If it is the ps4 sounds craptastic. >.> I don't buy used games often but I ALWAYS share my games with friends. That's a huge part of the fun for me, finishing a game and then lending it to my friends so we can discuss it. : /
We'll see I guess.

WeScYdE says:
How is the game going to be tied to your PS3? Would this mean i could not use it on both my PS3's in my house? I guess we will soon find out the answers to these questions probably by E3

Ice King says:
Same for me. I've been saying since this rumor first started circulating (for the Playstation 3 so it's possible this is just more of the same), the first console that locks the game to your console or makes you pay extra to use it on more than one device will be the first console I don't buy.

I assume the Wii-U plays used games?

Ice King says:
I haven't heard anything one way or the other, which means it probably does. If it didn't we almost definitely would have heard something a while ago.

Sha Gojyo says:
>>Lol, no used games.<<

who cares. i'm sure there are a lot of people who don't buy used games anyway.

>>No backwards compatibility.<<

most people buy newly launched game systems to play the new games, not the old ones, if they want to play the older games, then they should learn to stick with the old systems insted.

>>$500-$600.<<

I wouldn't put too much faith into that price range, untill the final product is launched. even if that price is true, there will still be people who will be willing to pay it to play the games that come out for the PS4.

Sha Gojyo says:
>>I agree that if PS4 won't let you play used games but the Xbox 720 will<<

you have no idea if the X720 will or won't play used games, for all you know it'll be the same as the PS4 on that subject.

M. says:
U mad bro? These "rumors" are straight from official PlayStation magazine. Take it up with them.

Xbox magazine just released an article about the next xbox also. Nowhere did it mention the ability to not play used games or 360 games. Just saying...

Sha Gojyo says:
>>Not only that but the ps4 looks like it's going to be the sane price as the ps3....the main reason it failed.<<

PS3 is only 1 million units or so behind in sales from X360, where has it failed? I don't fuggin see it!

How does this whole "no used games" thing work? Man, that's a bummer.

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 20, 2012 11:07:43 AM PST
M. says:
You can't be serious? You don't see how the PlayStation went from being number one with 150 million units sold last gen to being in last place with not even 70 million in sales this gen? Microsoft is the opposite. They went from no fan base to being one of the leaders.

Not sure how anyone with common sense could leave these facts out.

Sha Gojyo says:
if both consoles go digital, they'll be in the same boat as PC with Steam.

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 20, 2012 11:11:17 AM PST
JWK says:
They *are* rumors by definition. That's why the German magazine says at the end of the article that Sony hasn't verified the accuracy of anything the article says. That's a rumor.

Please, just tell me you're trolling. I mean, I've always known you're dumb, but damn...

Sha Gojyo says:
you don't see the regualr Xbox having 150 million sales do you? plus PS2 systems were still selling, even after the PS3 launched too.

OP says:
As a spectator, this interpretation is pretty much priceless: a bit under 70 million = in last place, a bit over 70 million = one of the leaders.
