My alarm clock didn't go off this morning. Instead I slept in till 9, and I figured I'd go get my pre-order of Halo 4, skip working out, and game my ass off today.

Question about the install though... I'm installing the second disc now, but should I also install the first disc as well?

I'm super excited, can't decide if I want to jump right into multiplayer, or check out the single player....

I always check out campaign first, but that's me.

I'm jealous. Hope the servers hold up for you(if you plan to play online), it seems there is a bit of a problem with them, hopefully its only for a small number of folks though.

Games like Halo and Cod, I usually play 1 or 2 missions a day and however much time I have afterwards for MP.

That's how I usually am too Mog.

I even picked me up a bottle of vodka on the way home - a bit strange walking into a liquor store before 5pm, but Halo 4 only releases once. lol

how big of an install is it? hoping to have both discs installed while dinner is being prepped/eaten

Walking into a liquor store at anytime is fine as it's just running errands. Now drinking it on the bus home before noon, that is judged a litte bit harsher.

Not that I would know...stop looking at me like that.

I'll let you know the total install size as soon as the first disc finishes...

Lol Mog, I plan to start here pretty soon, but it's okay because I'm at home right?

Marvelous says:
Okay second disc is a total 3.5 GB, and the first is 7.3 GB.

The second disc took about 5 mins to install, and te first is the usual 10 min range.

My theory is that if bars are open than it's perfectly understandable to be drinking, right? Why else would they be open at hours people shouldn't drink?

Also I googled what time is it OK to start drinking and going by Yahoo Answers it's beer:30

Thanks Marvelous, I thought the second was larger then that.. could have swore I was told I need 8 gb free.

Marvelous says:
Lmao, with that said I best be on my way to the Halo universe! Probably going to bounce back and forth with Assassin's Creed III as well, it's just going to be an awesome unplanned gaming day!

No problem, I remember reading it was 8 GB too.

Also any drinking that occurs before noon must also involve juice. OJ, tomato juice, it's what makes it ok to drink in the AM.

Can anyone explain that actually? If you get a beer with your breakfast you're a drunk but if you get a bloody mary you are rocking brunch.

Disc 2 has to be installed via the in-disc menu. Disc 1 is installed via the Dashboard.

Disc 2 only contains the multiplayer.
