If I buy that, it makes my penis bigger, right?

Not sure, but it will make your new girlfriend hotter and more expensive than the last one.

Remind me of this when I hit my midlife crisis, for now I'll pass.

I'm completely unimpressed. It looks like an Audi. I hate that friggin' AI movie. Now every car that comes out has to draw from that to look "futuristic" when the motor in the car hasn't changed in 100 years. Still running fossil fuels? Yup.

The Sting Ray was something unique and beautiful. This is generic and uninspired.

I actually like the styling on this one a bit, and I generally dislike the modern vets. I still prefer the early ones though, especially before the rise of the stingray back, but that's me :)

To make this game related, they are adding this car to GT5. Tomorrow for no charge

I'm with you on that. It looks nice, but I still like the older ones.

I prefer modern cars to look more modest. Current model Volvo S80 is a great looking car because it's not trying too hard. It's simple with clean subtle lines

If we are going to just be talking about reveals from this Detroit Auto Show I'd probably go with the new BMW 4 series.

Well that was fast.

I dunno. It looks decent, I guess, but some other models from the last ten or fifteen years have looked better, and of course the '63-'70 Corvettes were the best.

It just doesn't feel as long as a Corvette should, really.

I see by "modest" you mean "boring."

Or as wide.

There was an SNL skit that featured a car you could make love to. That's what I think of this new 4 series.

Also I might not have been honest with myself about not liking a lot of these throwback model of cars since I do think the new Dodge Challenger looks nice and I'm glad seeing muscle cars on the road again.

It looks mean as hell. I dig it. It's for the 2014 model year and it's a Vette. It's supposed to look modern and sinister. Last I checked the world is still dependent on fossil fuels.

You expected cars to be running on water by now? Not just yet, They haven't even projected that into the Corporate Average Fuel Economy standards for 2050, so I think they're still in the R&D stages on that ...

I don't like the back end very much, but it'll grow on me I'm sure... The rest of the car though is very sharp looking, I dig the hell out of it.

Less than 60 grand and it'll smoke those foreign exotics that cost over a quarter of a million. I'd drive the hell out of it if I had the chance.

You naysayers saying you wouldn't drive it? I bet, given the opportunity, you'd think it was a sweet car.

You do realize that exotic foreign cars cost MUCH less in Europe than they do here right?

Also, much of the reason why there are naysayers in this thread is because they think expensive/noneffecient cars are stupid. They all drive Honda Civics and all pride themselves on 32ish mpg but forget they are still burning fossil fuels to do it :).

Reminds me of this dude. I wonder what he'd do to a Corvette.

Looks okay, I'm not a big Vette guy though. If someone gave me one I'd drive the hell out of it, but I'm saving my pennies to get a Ferrari someday. I'm more of a sports car guy than a muscle car guy.
