I was waiting to get my $40 gift certificate from Best Buy for buying the 2 games a couple weeks back, and I checked the mail yesterday and found the $40 gift card as well as a separate envelope containing a $10 Reward Zone certificate that Best Buy sent to me as an Xmas gift.

I was able to use both of them and get South Park: The Stick of Truth for $13.99. Then the $20 credit that I get from that, I will put towards Bioshock: Infinite and get the first two games I was going to buy next year for the price of 1.

Sweet.

Is South Park releasing in 2013? I thought it was in limbo, the same pit as FF Versus XIII and The Last Guardian has seemed to have fallen in.

I thought it was still doing quite well? I thoroughly enjoyed the trailer they had at the VGAs. It looks to be coming along nicely.

THQ needs it to come out as soon as possible. I wasn't going to buy it day one because it's Obsidian, but I really want to play it.

The company making it was depending on Darksiders II to save them, and with that hope dashed everything is on the South Park game. They pretty much HAVE to release this game.

But you also paid for 2 games that are 39.99 right now. And where 39.99 at the time when you purchased them at Bestbuy (at other stores). lol

So, sure.

I'd like to get the South Park game to help THQ, but South Park is awful.

No. They were not. Far Cry 3 was $59.99 when I got this deal. And I got the Hitman: Professional Edition for $59.99 from this deal. You spouted this same crap in the thread that I made when I did this deal and it was just as wrong then as it is now.

But in that thread, after I called you out on it, you hid behind the pretense that you said "that's why I said 'most.'"

I know that I requested a credit for Stick of Truth from GMG since they are now offering some cashback or cred for preorders and I had preordered just earlier this month. Hoping that they come through, and I have hope that they'll give since this kinda thing has happened before and they extended to previous orders.
