If I get a game I already own, I don't tell the giver as it could make them feel bad. Just take them to Wal-mart and get a GC since you won't have the receipt.

This was the lamest Christmas in a while, lol. I got two scarves, two pairs of earrings, three tea mugs (one hand-decorated...how sweet), and a DBZ t-shirt. Needless to say, Vegeta FTW. Although the earrings are hand-made and cute.

I got a 360 slim hard drive for my original model 360. Not sure what to do about that.

Got ya beat. I got a $25 dollar GC. That's the extent from everyone. Next year, I'm going to be playing Grinch after spending about $900.

How does that work? Was this a secret santa that went horribly wrong?

Well, apparently it was an example of bad communication between everyone.

Oh. And I won this at the office Christmas raffle. I'm counting this as a present too since I'm upgrading my old one and selling the old one to a coworker.

Xbox 360 250GB with Kinect Holiday Value Bundle

I'm kind of difficult to shop for since I pretty much buy whatever I'm into before the holidays, but I did get a pretty awesome travel mug that holds 3 cups of coffee and is insulated for the freezing Utah winters, a cool looking psychedelic blanket for sofa surfing, lots of homemade vegan goods, a couple Steam games courtesy of our awesome gaming community, a squishy ball with a weird name that's used for working out (mostly squats), and a new pull up bar. So, pretty happy with the haul. My daughter on the other hand raked in the goods. Filled the trunk of our car, lol.

ed: and a $25 visa. Bought an HDMI cable so far. $19 left to go.

That's pretty swag, man.

Wait, we obviously have different uses of the word. Gaming swag means gaming paraphenalia such as cardboard stands, shirts, bobbleheads, etc. I'm not disputing your definition, but mine was the way that it was used here.

btw, you are pretty swag.

Actually it's slang for money, valuables, etc.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 26, 2012 5:23:20 PM PST
Ah, misunderstood you, and you better not be insulting me, good sir.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 26, 2012 5:32:41 PM PST
Sometimes it is difficult to tell if you are being serious or not, so I'm going with not serious, but rather joking good times instead. :)

Posted on Dec 26, 2012 5:33:49 PM PST
Wait. Swag doesnt mean Star Wars and Goonies? Because I love both.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 26, 2012 5:35:01 PM PST
I do hope he is not insulting me.

I do joke around a lot, but I am serious a lot as well.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 26, 2012 5:35:51 PM PST
Nope, it stands for "scientific wild ass guess."

Oh son of a b#$@%^

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 26, 2012 5:42:20 PM PST
I'm just throwing this out there, but good natured insults are a big part of familiarity and friendship.
