I'm going to play the demo tonight. I'm surprised that Capcom has put so much money and so many man hours into this game and I've heard more negative feedback from the demo than positive. I'm surprised. And crushed; this was a game I've looked forward to all year.

Those giving negative comments about RE6, did they like RE4 & RE5? I thought RE4 was the best in the series, while RE5 was still excellent. I don't quite get the RE5 hate most seem to have.

The game is fine but Capcom desperate need money and they are going to oversea to get it.

So far the only review I've seen of this game gave it a 35/1500 but I believe that was meant as a mostly positive review...it's hard to say.

RJMacReady says:
Every recent RE game gets ripped quite a bit by fans of the earlier games who don't like the direction the series has taken. I'll wait and see until more reviews come in.

After 4, I kinda knew it'll never go back to its roots. RE4 was too successful for the franchise. I just played Silent Hill and Dead Space after that.

Yeah, I don't play these games for "horror" anymore, and I'm OK with that. I loved 4 and 5 and I'll be getting this one as well.

Couldn't you just access your XBL account through the browser on your phone and tell it to download? I know that's more of a pain but it would work...

Resident evil 4 was cool and amazing. The wii version had a cool way to play it, making it different and very entertaining. Resident evil has changed too much. I didn't like RE5 at all, probably due to the changes to chris. Leon still looks human but Chris looks like he has been hititng the 'roids.

RE5 is my most played game this gen (possibly, Oblivion might top it, but it's close), day one for this, hatter keep on hattin'!

Yeah, I just went to xbox.com to get it DL'ed to my 360. It wasn't so bad, but it definitely can be improved. Ironically, the Xbox website has way less ads than the pay service. Go figure.

You had to unlock his "Mad Max" costume. It alleviates the seriousness involved with Chris' serious, hulking appearance.

I played Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition with the Move controller, which functioned a lot like RE4 on the Wii. Very nice control scheme.

I thought RE4 was good. Not my favorite in the franchise but it did the job. What I liked the most was the change in controls. RE5 was an action game. I enjoyed it but I miss the old RE days. I loved 1,2,3 and Veronica. I want RE games to be scary again.

I will try the demo tonight and see how I feel about it. I will probably still get the game since I've purchased and played through every single one but the demo will determine how long I will wait for it to come down in price.

it would be perfect if the xbox turned on and started downloading

I remember that RE4 and Metroid Prime 2 came out at about the same time. I went in with one of my friends to get both of these games where we each bought one and would allow the other to borrow it once we finished it. We drew straws to see who got Metroid Prime 2.

After playing both I had never been so happy to draw the short straw.
