Dan Wang says:
Amazon is ridiculous with this. This has been the only game in the past 2 years that warranted a release-date delivery from me, yet Amazon manages to screw it up. The ONLY reason I bought from Amazon was to ensure that I got the game on time, which I currently do not have. I am still in the "Not Yet Shipped" Stage..... If I knew Amazon was going to mess up my order, I would have merely purchased the LE from gamestop and wiped my hands of this.
That is to say, I'm never purchasing any video games from Amazon again. I've learned my lesson, unfortunately on one of the only games I care about receiving on time.

And where do you live? What city and or state?

Also, why don't you email customer service instead of posting here?

Dan Wang says:
I already chatted with an "agent" and called them over the phone.

The agent told me that my order would "still arrive today" even though it hasn't shipped yet.
I couldn't reach them on the phone after numerous attempts.

You are in the minority when it comes to orders with issues. Amazon has 24/7 customer service and the longest I've ever waited was about 5 minutes. Maybe you're calling the wrong number.

I wouldn't give up on Amazon until you don't receive the game today. Their tracking may not update as fast as the game ships. I have had it happen to me a few times where Amazon tracking says the game is in a different state, but when I check the mail, it was there. Keep up the faith for now my friend.

So you are potentially mad for no reason?

Dan Wang says:
The closest distribution center I've ever seen Amazon use for me is the one in NJ. I live in CT and UPS/FEDEX delivers from 11am-4pm, so I unless they shipped it like 8 hours ago....

MrFoxhound says:
So, you're on the East coast. Where Sandy just hit. And the distro center is in NJ, which was hit particularly hard by Sandy. And I guess you didn't see this on the order page either:

Delivery may be impacted by Hurricane Sandy. Proceed to checkout to see estimated delivery dates. Learn More.

Fedex/UPS can deliver as late as 8pm, so there is that.

Are people really complaining because the hurricane that destroyed parts of NJ is making their game a few hours or even a day late?

I hate to call people entitled, but wow.

MrFoxhound says:
Whatever, I gave $20 to a Sandy relief fund. I don't know how much more they need, or why they haven't used my $20 and fixed this entire mess yet, but GIVE ME MY GODDAMN HALO!

More like Halol.

It's ok ... you can call them entitled. What else could you call it? People are ridiculous.

I'd like to say I'm surprised by this behavior but...well you know.

With your $20 and my $20, that's $40. What are they doing with our money?! I demand answers!

MrFoxhound says:
I have no idea why they want this game so bad, they can't even be misogynistic anymore. Why even play a game where you can't tell women to get back into the kitchen? I guess there is still the blatant racism, but, damn, it won't be like Halo 3 online.

Mismanagement of funds. Call CNN! Call Anderson Cooper!

Ice King says:
I know, I just think the word is overused these days. It seems like whenever someone has a complaint about anything, whether it's legit or not, someone will call them entitled.
But it definitely fits in this case.
