I've always wanted to play Shivering Isles, just never picked it up. If I buy the GOTY edition will my save from my previous Oblivion playthrough still work? I would get this just to play Shivering Isles and I don't really want to start another playthrough to do it at this time.

And yeah, Shivering Isles is probably 15-30 hours, so it's worth it if you get it cheap.

Yes, as soon as Shivering Isles is installed and your character is high enough level, you'll get a note telling you that a weird portal is opening up near Bravil.

The quest is called "A Door in Niben Bay" or something like that.

Don't worry. I did the exact same thing and it worked fine with my character. Great DLC!

Sweet, just got a used copy for $9 off of amazon, thanks for assuring me it'll work! Now if I can just get the Skyrim dlc for my PS3 then I'll be set...
