Turkey bacon, veggie burgers, and sandwhich bread doesn't make a hamburger, so quit pretending it does.

Turkey bacon was made by food trolls. They won that one.

turning soybeans into fake meat is disrespectful to both the soybeans AND the meat.

that said, i really do *love* a good veggieburger. preferably with bacon, and cheese.

Tukey bacon kind of freaks me out, actually. If normal bacon comes from near the pig's butt, where does it come from in turkeys? This is very perplexing, just don't think about it too much.

I know a place that serves turkey ribs and fried turkey meatballs, so just remember there's two sides to every turkey.

I think the place is called The Gobble Stop.

Those are fine, but you don't even attempt to change the magical creation known as Bacon. It's the holiest of holies when it comes to food. If you have something against pig, then you just don't get to enjoy the smoky greatness that is known as Bacon. Them's the breaks.

Turkey Bacon is the devil's work, but Morning Star's blackbean burgers are respectable.

Veggie burgers and turkey bacon are both alright. But veggie bacon is pure evil and I can never live down the shame of having tried it.

I dont see the controversy, lol. I mean really, you guys are eating people anyway when you consume bacon. Pigs anatomy is essentially the exact same as a humans. There is a reason human is called "long pig".

That said, processed soy patties arent good for ya' either. Fortunately, quite a few veggie burgers are actually made from mushrooms and ancient grains. I eat those ones personally.

my mushroom burger recipe is "grill whole portabello, place on bun".

I like turkey bacon and turkey burger is better than hamburger for about 90% of possible uses.

"Pigs are filthy animals. I don't eat filthy animals."
"Yeah, but bacon tastes good. Pork chops taste good."
"Hey, sewer rat may taste like pumpkin pie, but I'd never know 'cause I wouldn't eat the filthy motherfunker. Pigs sleep and root in shirt. That's a filthy animal. I ain't eatin' nothing that ain't got sense enough to disregard its own feces."
"How about a dog? Dog eats its own feces."
"I don't eat dog either."
"Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal?"
"I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy, but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way."
"Ah, so by that rationale, if a pig had a better personality, he would cease to be a filthy animal. Is that true?"
"Well, we'd have to be talkin' about one charming motherfunking pig. I mean, he'd have to be ten times more charming than that Arnold on Green Acres, you know what I'm saying?"

Vegetables have their place, but that place is not acting like meat. You don't see meat acting like vegetables do you? I think it is jealousy on vegetables part.
