You think $20 is super expensive? Regular adult ticket is $17, 3D is like $22. To see movies at expensive cinema with recliners and waiters is like $45 for a ticket.

Milky? Was she lactating?

"milky jiggling breasts"

Most unattractive way I've heard to describe bewbs this week.

Is it weird that those words make we want to go see it more now?

No... I kind of do too. I mean, the trailer looks awesome, and I liked the first Jack Reacher book. Plus, milky jiggling breasts.

But man... Tom Cruise...

Tom Cruise is occasionally good. I mean Collateral is an awesome movie and Cruise was well cast in it.

Has anyone read these books? Are they the kind you can read in any order?

Cruise has his moments as a competent actor, but the way he throws his money at Scientology. Man, I just don't want to give him my money. lol

Oskar - I read the first one. I believe you really do need to read them in order, but I'm not sure.

Man, where are you guys watching movies? They are like $8 here with two for ones often. IMAX is typically around $12-$15 here.

That does sound cool. Sort of like an amped up Alamo Drafthouse (a full service theater chain in and around Austin).

Those are cropping up more and more. We just got one in our area but I haven't had the chance to try it yet.

Is there anyone who's job it is to slap the butter out of the person talking on her cellphone?

Sounds a lot better than any movie house I've ever been to.

Waiters are quiet and friendly as the movie is rolling but they are moving all movie that was a little bit of a bummer. I think they should kill it once the movie starts, but money is money.

They didn't announce when the movies were starting either so keep an eye on your watch if your theater is anything like mine was.

I thought it was incredibly bad timing to be released seeing as how we just had the shooting in Connecticut (The movie opens with a random shooting where a little kid is shot). It was pretty uncomfortable to watch it.

I thought OP was below average to me. Hawk wasn't at his best and I'm a big fan of his work. Mild-Spoiler: It's one of those threads where an action happens to open the thread and they spend the rest of the post trying to figure out if anyone else thought so, how, and why.

Don: That didn't happen. Also the Reacher books Jack Reacher is a 6-5 brawler dude, Reacher is played by little Tommy. I can't remember a Cruise movie worse than this one.

I kind of wanted to see this but I can't buy Tom Cruise as a movie character anymore. Same thing with Mel Gibson and Travolta to a lesser extent. These actors have goofy stories about their personal lives that have overshadowed any future movie roles for me.

I want to go see crazy Jack Reacher guy beat up the hoodlums, but I'm afraid I'll just see crazy Scientologist actor filming fight scenes.

You didn't see War of the Worlds, then.
