Not really.. You get 10 points for referral, which is nothing, then you get points every time they earn points specifically by searches.

The sites not half as shady as it looks, it's not full of viruses and it's not like you need referrals to get points. I've gotten 6 referrals and earned less than 100 points from all them, which is nothing compared to the points I get from the right surveys.

As far as getting surveys, you need to finish some of the profile surveys first so they can start sending you some, or on the home page they have a daily survey for 60 points. It is obnoxious cause you don't qualify 90% of the time, but when you do it's great...

What's a paramid? If you mean pyramid, then I guess so. I mean I sign up as someone's referral and the points I accumulate get added to theirs as well and if he's signed on with someone else's referral then that guy gets both of our points as we accumulate.

I think SB limits you to five $5 Amazon codes per month.

I tried doing it but no surveys ever show up for me nor do any special offers. Searching is tedious as well. I have to do at least 20-30 searches at least before 7-8 swag points get added to my total. That's about what I earn in a day and it's painful. Being in a different country, it doesn't work out for me. If I had you as my referral, I would earn just as much as you do though. :P

And technically, I signed up with the link you provided so I don't know if it's affecting your total or not.

gonna take a lot of $5 gift cards to justify wiping my machine or battling identity theft

Just wanted to to update my experiences. I've earned $30 + $5 in points I haven't earned yet on the site so far, most of them earned through surveys. Apparently there is a $25 a month limit on amazon cards (at least the $5 one). So $25 in two weeks is incredible for this kind of thing.

It has ads for Credit Report.com and other shady sites, plus it revels in getting you to sign up to spam, but if you're careful it's incredibly profitable. I got the impression a lot of people took one look at the site and decided it was just spam crap. It might help that I mostly do it at work where the hard drive runs off a server and gets rewritten every time you restart, but I've done it at home too and haven't noticed in viral things occurring.

What's wrong with that? There is no saying your 20 entries will *win*.... so it's a bit of a gamble... you could instead spent $450 and know you're getting $5.

As far as everything else, I agree it's can be more time consuming... it's certainly not like bing where you just do one monotonous task for 5 minutes every day and are done. But rewards are certainly increased with the effort.

If you're serious about doing it, you just need to come up with some micro management. Pick a set list of things you'll do and forget about all the other stuff, the sign ups and the surveys, don't do them if you feel they are too much hassle. The points are sitting there tempting you but you don't HAVE to earn 100 points a day... you could just earn 30 through all of the other means. That's still faster than bing what with the listed price being less ect and 30 points a day being quite a bit more....

It is a chance you take, it is like a lottery. I don't do the sweepstakes myself.

Yup. Even at 156 swagbucks that is a great savings.

It takes 450 swagbucks to purchase the $5 Amazon Gift Card. If you win you are saving 294 swagbucks.

There is a $5 Amazon gift card sweepstakes on the front page and says $9 per entry. You can buy 20 entrys for $156 swag bucks. So what does this mean I could buy 20 entries to win one $5 Amazon card if I was the winner ? That can't be right.

I feel the same way. Not sure if it's something that I would stick with.

It wouldn't even let me register for the surveys. It had an error. I can't say I'm a fan of the site, it seems obnoxious and too time consuming.

They do give you a code, they do not mail the cards in the mail.

When your code is ready they will email you and you can goto your swagbucks account to get the code and enter it on Amazon.

Reason it takes time is they purchase the cards in large batches so they get a discount, they wait until they have enough orders to make a batch purchase then email those out.

the surveys are never ending though asking you the same question 50 times and without a timeline you have no idea if u are going to be done in 5 or a hlaf an hour. seems pretty nikle and dime to me but nothing is ever easy, and why can't they just email you a code instead of waiting for a amazon card int he mail.

Yeah... I don't touch those... the free credit report ones... you probably should avoid. But there are quite a few ways to earn bucks. I do the surveys... none of them have made me worried. Very few asked for street address and if they do you could always lie or change it by a number if you are concerned.

As far as time per day... it depends on what you do. You could spend all day doing stuff and earn 500-1000 a day or you could spend an hour a day and get 300, it's up to you how much time you want to dedicate. Surveys and signing up to stuff get points fast, playing their flash games and watching the swag TV gets points relatively slowly.

I signed up I'll hang out a few more days, just seems like to really do some damage you have to apply for a credit card or a car loan or a mortgage loan, lol. It eats a ton of time. I was just on here for 2 hours and I have 100 swag bucks big woop and that's because mostly that I signed up.

I have never received any spam and have not linked my bank account to anything.

I do the things that do not require me to give out my information.

I do the Swagbucks tv, the Mobile Swagbucks tv, the daily poll, the NOSO and searches. That there gives me 215-230 per day which is 6450 swagbucks per month which is enough for $25 in gift cards per month and a $100 gift card on top of that every 3 months.

I am happy with that. I don't do the surveys.

It doesn't take that long to get your credit, they say 10-14 business days but I usually get them within 8 days.

I purchased 6 Amazon gift cards at the beginning of this month and they all poseted yesterday, I got $125 in gift cards.

Swagbucks is a awesome way to earn free gift cards, I have been doing it for about 2 years now and love it.
