Sounds like Tee is losing interest in video gaming. It happens, you know.

FOGE says:
Haha. Well if it's gf, not wife the. It should be easy to get rid of her. Just be kind enough to drop her off at a mall so she can drown her sorrows in Cinnabon and shopping.

Yeah, I base most of my opinions on next gen systems by how random guys with youtube channels feel. Makes sense.

The video just reiterated what John Carmack felt about next gen systems. You didnt watch the video did you JWKristmas?

new Tron says:
So because Carmack says that many games next gen will still target 30 fps, that makes next gen gaming almost pointless? Don't you think you're being a little over dramatic?

This whole "consoles are pointless because Steam exists" thing is getting really grating.

How much better can they make games at this point?

I guess the real question is how much more can they charge us to play them?

until we get holo-decks, there will always be a need for improvement.

I am excited to see what the next generation brings to the table but I wish it would wait a year since I still have a huge backlog.

GarionOrb says:
Oh me too...but even if they did wait a year or two longer, there's nothing preventing me from maintaining (and exceeding) my current backlog during that time!

Today alone I got both The Walking Dead and Sin & Punishment: Star Successor!

J. Pardee says:
Oh, my backlog definitely won't go down next year either even without getting a new system. There are too many good games coming out next year that I want and half of them are long games.

I'm sure the tens of millions of other gamers don't feel that the next gen gaming is pointless.

It is starting to look that way. I know many of us are just wanting new hardware and with it new ideas, but on the tech side of things even GPU intensive bleeding edge graphics on the latest PC hardware has become somewhat stagnated since the release of Crysis Warhead back in 2008.

Personally I am just waiting t be very underwhelmed at the hardware previews coming from both Sony and Microsoft next year.

Family Guy ftw. It's funny when Stewie shoots them in an episode, turns to the camera and says "Okay they will NEVER be apart of another episode" or something like that. I guess people thought it got funny. The funny thing was is that they kept bringing them back as ghost Lol.
