Thank you, it's obvious that it wasn't even true to begin with.

Please don't remind of that heck that I went through last year.

After having seen it once, I liked it.

I tried to view it with a critical eye, while also enjoying it.

Perhaps the next/last 2 movies will make it seem better.

If Ridley Scott lives long enough and can secure funding.

You can swear, it's not like I don't hear it every day at my school.

Plus, I sometimes swear myself, and my brother swears in nearly every sentence he speaks.

Seriously, you are talking to a guy who is past his middle school years. Now I have 3 and a half years of a bad environment for teens.

Still old enough to post on the VGF!!

It stars Don Ameche, Wilford Brimley and Brian Dennehy.

Dennehy is an alien who had to come to Earth, to get his buddies. Who are in cocoons.

The cocoons are being stored in a swimming pool.

When the over 50 humans swim in said pool, they magically turn younger. Not in looks, but in overall health and speed and coordination and so on.

The problem is, this saps energy or health or whatever from the cocooned aliens.

Not even 21, so I will most likely not enjoy it.

Cocoon was ok. Especially if you are over 50 years old and wish you could be young again.

I haven't seen it myself (the entire movie is on YouTube), so I wouldn't know. but people I used to post with on another message who have seen it had said, it was one of those "so bad it's good" type of movies

not to mention, Busey himself makes any bad movie somewhat watchable, as he makes it funny with his crazy-man antics

Seems like Disney can't make a decent live-action film.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 5, 2012 6:51:12 PM PST
It was so bad, and because it was 25 years ago, that the only scenes that I remember are the 2 that I described.

but you gotta appreciate the hilarious "Butthorn" quote that he says in the movie

I saw parts of it. It looked like a standard issue action-mystery.

But the 2nd one was horrible. I didn't even see it, and I know it was.

Nic Cage is a Freemason. That has a lot to do with why he made those movies, and why he wants to be buried in a pyramid.

"Solo", with Mario Van Peoples. So bad it's good. Killer robot grows a heart. Seriously.

Bulletproof. The one starring Gary Busey.

At the beginning of the movie, he's a cop and he gets shot by a bad guy.

But he doesn't go to the hospital. He goes home.

And extracts the bullet his own manly self, then places it in a jar full of other bullets which he has pulled out of his body.

Then, he gets sent on a Special Forces mission to Central America.

He goes down there in his civilian clothes. No camos, at all.

Stupid Stupid Stupid movie.
