Ugh. So mad I missed the sale on Fez. I'm getting the demo for that and dust now though. May buy both. Loved the Indie Game movie btw. Really interesting.

Yeah, here is the story which is fairly interesting. Really once guy too.

I am still not sure whether I should get it or not. Platformers aren't really my favourite genres and I've heard it's tough like hell too. What do you guys think? Any pros and cons to this game?

Also, anyone play Joe Danger: The Movie? I loved the demo for the first game but haven't heard much about the sequel. I also have Trials HD waiting to be played so will this game feel similar?

DukeNole says:
I picked up Deadlight and Dust this morning. Will be picking up the last 3 episodes of The Walking Dead and Skyrim's Dawnguard and Hearthfire on their sale days. That would leave me with 880 pts to maybe grab something else. I hope the Dec 26 TBA is better than yesterday's.

WHat game are you talking about Prankster?

Fez isn't really a platformer rather than a puzzle/adventure game, there are no enemies, and if you miss a jump you just respawn on the platform you were last on.

Which game? Neither Fez or Dust are really platformers and the Fez sale is gone anyways. Dust isn't really that difficult. Sure, there might be some areas that are difficult but you can go back and grind some XP for leveling up.

Damn, I can't believe I forgot to mention the name itself. I meant Super Meat Boy. :)

Oh yeah, Super Meat Boy is pretty brutal.

As for Joe Danger, I passed on the sequel. I have the first game and it was decent but Trials was a better game in my opinion.

You have to get Super Meat Boy. It doesn't matter if you ever beat it or not. It's just one of those games that you have to play and experience. Such a great platformer.

Prankster says:
Alright then I think I will get Super Meat Boy and pass on Joe Danger (though it is still tempting at just $5). Thanks guys. Anyone who feels SMB isn't worth a purchase, speak up now or forever hold your silence. :D

Prankster says:
Hah, yes Sir! I did see the IGN reviews and he does mention that you might breeze through one level and expect to get stuck up about a 100 times in the next one but it never stops being fun. I wanted Ms. Splosion the most but I will get this now. I'll have to buy some points off the marketplace itself because otherwise only Bing points work for me. I need 800 of the 900 I already have for The Walking Dead.

elect Tron says:
If you read Prankster's post, the silence is response to his request asking if anyone thinks he shouldn't buy it.

Prankster says:
Btw Tron, that post of yours immediately made me think of Red Dead Redemption. Good times!

So you don't want Prankster to buy Meat Boy? read it again, slower. =p

Should I jump on dust? It would be an out of pocket purchase... No left over bing points regrettably...

I like dynasty warriors, RPGs, and stories, and it kind of sounds like a 2/d hack in slash rpg...

I just asked that. Curious too. I have heard some okay things about it. I want some action though....Not running and jumping.
