I want to buy my husband a gamer chair for Christmas and I am trying to find the best fit for him. He is just under 6 ft and about 140 pounds. He is a pretty serious gamer so he would use the chair frequently. He has a pair of wireless headphones so I don't think I would need any type of audio hookup. Any suggestions would be great. TIA.

Honestly I have a leather recliner. Awesome. Unless you want to drop an a$$ load of money on one of the actual gamer chairs. Recliner is the best way to go since you don't need speakers

or

A big leather recliner, unless you have animals that will tear it up.

Every time I turn on my 360 and log onto LIVE, I sit on a traffic cone for that realistic "I'm there" feeling.

A comfy Lazy Boy.

Well what is his current setup like? The room usually decides the furniture.

Are you positive that your husband wants a gaming chair, or might he just like a nice comfy chair to game in. Because to get a good gaming chair you're going to drop some real dough, and for the money you could probably get a much more chair that's not specifically a "gaming chair."

I assume you want this to be a surprise, but sometimes it's fun to get to pick out the exact thing you're looking for, especially if you're pretty particular like me. Maybe tell him what you'd like to get him and let him help you decide the specific model?

I second (third, or was it fourth) the recliner answer. That is what I have, and it is great! Also, you can use for something other than gaming.
