I liked the demo for both this and the 3DS version. I kept my 3DS order but canceled the order for this and will buy it from Amazon on BF for $25.

we tried both demos also, but he seemed far more drawn to the console version, & since the review (IGN) said that co-op helped bring the game to life, I'll get that - but will also look for a BF sale - since it's a Christmas gift ... gives me time to look for a deal, & these reviews will help drive the price down ...

Is this it for Warren Spector's Junction Point studio? Will Disney give them the boot like Black Rock and others? It seems aside from the improved camera, Epic Mickey 2 is worse than Epic Mickey, lacking a lot of the charm, level design, etc. of that game.

Yup, a lower score doesn't mean it can't be fun, especially for Disney fans. Despite the first game's camera, I really liked it. The demo for Power of Two was fun, as was the demo for Power of Illusion, so a Disney fan should be able to suck some enjoyment out of them, just the mileage may vary.

I don't think Destructoid reviews have much of an effect on sales, fortunately, lol. ;-)

I already have Power of Illusion on the way and am looking forward to it. I'll pick up Power of Two when the price comes down a bit.

I couldn't say no to those 2D sprites. As annoying as I hear the drawing stuff becomes in Power of Illusion, it's just too darn pretty!

And I didn't mind switching between the screens too much in Monster Tale and Henry Hatsworth.

Read the gamespot view, I don't think I can do more than bargain bin for this. The issues the reviewer has we're some of he same ones I had with the original and honestly I found them quite aggravating.

Man, how do they keep screwing up such a great idea?
