The MSX version really is superior. I enjoyed the NES version years ago, but then I recently played the MSX version on the HD Collection. It is definitely better.

I replaced Metal Gear with Kid Icarus.

That's not the NES version. That's the far superior MSX version. Please don't call the games that come with the HD collection NES games.

The NES version is just a hollow port that is impossible to stealth through, not only that, but you never fight Metal Gear in the NES version.

That's how I played Metal Gear, via the HD collection.

About you picking Metal Gear, you should really pick up an MGS HD Collection and play the MSX version of Metal Gear. Then you can see just how awful the NES port really was. Seriously, it borders on unplayable for me.

Love the game. Love that when you kill enemies, they vomit to death.

I just picked up Ice Hockey last week, actually. Got the cart cleaned, but I haven't had a chance to play it yet.
