An Ys game? Check. A Vita rpg? Check.
PRE-ORDERED.

This one is on my wish list. I'll probably grab it when the price drops. I still have Seven to finish, Origins and Oath on PC to play.

I haven't preordered this yet since if I do it so far in advance I will forget but I am more than likely to get this day one.

Not sure if I want this. Never played a Ys although I have a few on my backlog.

In reply to an earlier post on Mar 12, 2013 6:40:11 AM PDT
They're extremely fun RPGs. Much better than I thought they would be.

I've only played Ys Seven, but I really do enjoy it on the Vita.

I would have preordered it by now, but I am holding out to see if there will be a collectors/special/limited edition like with the other YS titles I purchased for my PSP.

I'm not too sure abt the on map fighting.

I think it reminds me of a cell phone game and cellphone game = bland story for me

I got this preordered as well. It looks fun.

On map fighting?

Are you referring to 1 and 2?

The original 2 are not fun for me. You just bump into things to "attack" them.

Ys: Seven is amazing and completely different from those two.

I am excite. I am very much the excite.

All the combat in YS Seven takes place on the map as well; like most action RPGs.

In reply to an earlier post on Mar 12, 2013 7:07:56 AM PDT
Oh, I see what you're saying.

I feel it plays like a hack and slash action RPG. I wasn't sure what she meant by "on map fighting".

In reply to an earlier post on Mar 12, 2013 7:25:37 AM PDT
Ys Seven was simply amazing.... not to mention one of the best soundtracks ever made.

Grr, currently in the backlog, and it taunts me on my vita nearly every day... I made the mistake of starting Wild Arms just to check it out, and now I'm hooked on that and pushing Y's Seven back a little more!

Darn backlogs....

I played like 30 minutes of Napishtim and it just didn't snag me in.

StriderNeo15 says:
Do you own Ys Seven? You should try it out, unlike the others it is a "modern" game, and it tons of fun.

Definitely looks like this new one has more in common with that than the earlier ones.

In reply to an earlier post on Mar 12, 2013 7:36:09 AM PDT
i though the new one looked a lot like 7, you had a party and such...

The Drizzle says:
