I. Flores says:
Yeah. Creative first party games. Same flagship game since 1985.
Such creativity.

FOGE says:
They need to advertise. Somehow people are dumb enough to not know that every Veterans Day we get a Call of Duty. If they didnt advertise sales would be down hard, esp for day one.

Gameresq says:
JJ cool L,

He is making a joke about your "X", as in "former", "Box", as in "girl parts". Thus: XBox = Former place I sheathed my sword

FOGE says:
Thank you. I knew someone here would get it.

Keller says:
Highest rated exclusives of the generation, there must be something creative there. Go back to playing Smash Sony Stars and Super LBP Kart. Also enjoy your Move, you know the direct rip of the Wii remote.

Keller acts as if a mob of scalpers is not getting truckloads of WiiUs to resell.

I think that is the real reason they aren't selling the gamepad seperately right away. Too many people in the US would buy it not knowing that it wasn't a WiiU.

Keller says:
Actually I don't pretend to know in either direction, unlike you I don't make up random guesses without any statistics to back my claims. I have zero idea how many scalpers there will be, nor do I reallly care. All I know is the unit is sold out worldwide.

I don't have any girl parts, former or current.

I'm all man.

FOGE says:
As in your ex girlfriend. Not your parts. The joke is less funny after all this explaining.

Keller says:
I think Nintendo has done a horrible, horrible, horrible job at explaining what the U is. They need to work on this. My only guess is they are waiting until the U is in stock before blitzing people with advertisments. Which makes sense really. Why bother trying to sell people a U when there aren't enough consoles to go around. Might as well wait until then.

Gameresq says:
Perhaps Strider is just messing with you at this point

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 6, 2012 7:27:57 AM PST
FOGE says:
Agreed. Even my gaming friends had no idea what it was when I mentioned it to them. They thought it was more Wii software or something due to the stupid name.

StriderNeo15 says:
I don't have an Xgirlfriend, just an Xbox.

I'll get it eventually.

Keller says:
"Wii-U" is the worst name ever. It should have been Wii-2 or something like that. The "Wii-U" is far too non discript.

I have faith in you. Just be friendly, talk to girls at bars, libraries, coffee shops and iron your pants. Iron your shirts even.

FOGE says:
I agree. I think people are going to think its an update of the last console instead of a new console. And how many confused people will buy Wii U games thinking they can play them on a Wii.

StriderNeo15 says:
That is good advice, but I think I'd rather just recruit some babes to the assassins and then impress them with my hidden blade hunting skills.

Keller - I am just saying, if they advertised it, they would have 2x more sales...

That's all, so cool your calm.

StriderNeo15 says:
Nintendo doesn't exactly have the best track record of manufacturing enough hardware to meet demand though.

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 6, 2012 7:37:04 AM PST
JJ4prez says:
Well I just think having millions upon millions of hardware available for day 1 is just stupid. It's hard for a company to do so.

R. Typo says:
Will every game have the option of using the gamepad as a display?

Paper Tiger says:
Oh and Keller, not to change the subject, but Skyrim for the 360 is on sale new today for $34.99(Amazon). I'm not sure I'd buy a used 360 game myself even to avoid giving Bethesda $.
