Awww, man. It was good. Different feel yes. It is drama i.n.t.e.n.s.i.v.e. It's all about the story and many a line was delivered to give it the drama. Yes, the nerdy fat kid was the only one who knew. Especially when he said the line, "we're better protected in groups" or something to that effect. I was like wait, is that Rick's Yoda? It took Rick like 4 seasons to get that and here the kid is with the rock of ages wisdom in the first third of the first episode.

Just like the Walking Dead has that primal bend in it where it seems people can only be saved by looking out for themselves, and I see that as a negative quality of society just in general . . . my hope is that people could care about others at least as much as themselves and promote everyone's general welfare . . . but, I know an interesting show has to include these things, but these families start off so broken.

I mean the Indian looking guy just moved in with a new family, they're not married which is why the addict at first, but also the addict's sister resent him.

The Indian guy's son doesn't want to talk to him and his father gives in and lets him stay with his real mom over the weekend while he tries to work his way into the addict's life to be a father to him that he may believe he can't be to his son, but we don't really get a take on how the Indian guy's (anyone know his name, I hate calling him Indian looking guy) wife feels about any of this.

It's like people know what they should do, but don't take responsibility for doing anything and our hero so far is the addict who seemingly has found his role in life, an addict, but can't do it anymore for all the invading zombies.

I liked the show, but maybe if they're working with backstory some of the characters can find redemption.

It'll be great to keep watching.

Actually it is a show about people and zombies, but I could see how the title of the show might be confusing for you.

I'm looking into Sling. It looks pretty solid. As soon as NBA starts, I need TNT and ESPN. I don't need a Xbox to use it though. I have a Samsung smart TV and all my apps appear with the press of a button.

I'm watching it tonight. I cut the cord a few months back and have started streaming. Was the Chris Hardwick special on before the episode? I don't see anything on Youtube.

This is not a show about zombies. It's about people.

The Walking Dead is about people more than it is zombies but its first episode was much faster paced than this spin off was. My point wasn't so much that there weren't enough zombies but that there just wasn't enough action period.

I'm still going to give it a chance but if it continues to be this slow I'm not going to watch it.

Yeah, that was actually my point. Everyone knows Stannis doesn't have a male heir.

Yes, Frank Dillane is the son of actor Stephen Dillane. And, yeah, Frank also played Tom Riddle Jr in Harry Potter apparently, though I haven't seen those movies myself.

Who Nick Clark (Frank Dillane)? He is not Stannis' son.....though he was a young Tom Riddle in Harry Potter

Stephen Dillane (his father) plays Stannis

Btw, he's Stannis Baratheon's son.

Edit for clarity: Technically, actor Stephen Dillane's son, but he's the guy who plays Stannis Baratheon.
