I was responding to the guy who made the joke originally lol. I just saw a perfect chance to use the meme and went for it.

I'm a little bummed no one responded to my Ghost Busters reference in that spam thread about Amazon gift cards. Had a whole setup and everything for it and for what? Nothing.

At least Burning Skies had a campaign I enjoyed that was average length for a portable FPS.

Declassified just has little papers to tell the story through short, random missions that take 6-10 mins. each to complete.

The patch fixes a lot of issues. I think the game is getting severely low balled. Home console expectations for a portable.

Wasn't Sony's whole selling point on the Vita "Home console quality experience on a portable" (or some rephrasing thereof?)

Considering that this is Sony's primary case for "this is why you should buy a Vita", it's not exactly an unreasonable expectation when evaluating Vita games.

"Console quality on the go."

You can't blame people when Sony says it themselves in the very commercial for this game.

Heads will roll @ activision.

It's really as close as it gets.

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 14, 2012 5:12:44 PM PST
Not really. Multiple Vita games look better.

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 14, 2012 5:13:48 PM PST
I'm talking the Vita as a whole.

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 14, 2012 5:17:33 PM PST
Can't argue with that, but the post I was quoting was defending this game by pretty much saying "don't compare it to consoles".

Paper Tiger says:
I wonder if the people reviewing this game on Amazon have unwrapped it yet? Although the 1st guy says he's put in 10 hours. User reviews are much better for this game so far. They are giving 4-5 stars. Maybe there's hope for those of you who like FPS?

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 14, 2012 5:19:21 PM PST
You usually have to wait a little while to see real user reviews where the new game hype has worn off.

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 14, 2012 5:19:28 PM PST
There are several verified purchases among those.

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 14, 2012 5:21:19 PM PST
Doesn't mean much, to be fair.

The game's rubbish.

Paper Tiger says:
Yea usually a game has a few 5 star and a few 1 star reviews to start. I don't care either way as I would never buy this type of game. I was just surprised to see so many good reviews even to start.

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 14, 2012 5:51:29 PM PST
Now THAT'S going to leave a mark!

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 14, 2012 5:53:16 PM PST
Are you worried that people will think Sony published this game? All Sony did was choose the developer and push to have the game in a Vita Holiday bundle.

According to someone at Kotaku, this game only had 4-5 months to be developed:

"If my math is correct, CoD Vita had like a four-five month development cycle."

https://twitter.com/supererogatory

It's all on Activision, not Nihilistic. No developer can create a big CoD experience in that time. That's nothing. And it sounds right, as Burning Skies launched at the very end of May.

No wonder Nihilistic changed their name to Nstigate.

I actually liked Conan and Burning Skies. This is all too bad, really.

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 14, 2012 6:30:00 PM PST
The Vita has a habit of murdering studios that work on games for Sony (four studios since February.) The people at Nihilistic may think that changing the name of the studio will help them escape the curse.
