12 Hole Ocarina From Legend of Zelda

She's a big Zelda fan, so it's definitely relevant. Tomorrow's my birthday party and I plan on taking her sledding tomorrow (and we have met up in-between making cookies with her family at her house and gong to a Christmas party so it's not like this is the first time we've seen each other in almost a month or anything) and before people came to the house, I was gonna give it to her giftwrapped and with a card saying "Para mi princesa." (For my princess).... Too cheesy?

She a fan of Zelda? Then no.

If she doesn't know what Zelda is, then yes.

I guess you and I like different kind of girls, because if I wrote "For my princess" on any present to any girl I've ever dated, they would laugh in my face.

I thought of that, which is why I decided to write it in Spanish. Gives it a more romantic undertone I think.

It does help a little bit, I'm just a white d00d so I can't get away with that stuff. It's a pretty rad gift, by the way.

Great gift if she likes blowing things. But, if that's the case, skip the cookie making.

.......Wut??

Lol, I don't look Hispanic if you recall my Facebook pictures. I don't sound Hispanic unless I'm actually speaking Spanish. I have no accent at all.

You got the cred though. "Hey baby, wanna get with a Welshman?" just doesn't have the same ring to it. I don't even speak Welsh!

Yes, yes it is.

The princesa thing is kind of lame. "my" or "mi" implies ownership. You should avoid that. Unless she's a submissive.

I miss the days of when I had my own house and could "meet up" with my now wife rather than having her in my face 24/7.

MrFoxhound says:
She'd have to be a pretty BIG fan of Zelda to get the Hyrulian (even phonetically because Hyruilian is traditionally written in runes) writing. Also, calling her your princess is like kissing her ass. Like Ferris says, you can't respect someone who kisses your ass.

I was expecting a pearl necklace.
