Kellogg's cereal in the 80's and late 90's usually had the best prizes inside, the same with General Brand cereals but sadly it looks like that is mostly gone.

Nope, as we discovered in another thread, it's a colony of ants in a broken keyboard.

Ahem. Chex Quest, the game that came in Rice Chex, was a Doom Total Conversion. I remember enjoying it up until I got the notrocketlauncher and discovering that it has a blast radius that hurts you. As the weapons are described as only destroying the baddies, it totally broke my immersion.
Really. I was like 10, it wasn't a meme yet!

I remember getting a box of Super Mario/Legend of Zelda cereal when I was on vacation with my grandparents. It was sugary, brightly colored, and I don't remember much aside from my grandpa going "This stuff requires adult supervision!" after reading the box. :D

Anyone remember Chex Quest? A PC game which was (sort of) like a Doom parody. I remember getting one in a box of Corn Chex.

Well Cheerios had little Batman and Joker figures when The Dark Knight came out. I got a karate kickin' Heath Ledger.

The worst nowadays are Crackerjacks. I remember getting cool stuff in them like glow in the dark cars and stuff... now, you get a sticker or something made out of paper.

Germany has it on lockdown though with Kinder Eggs. Great candy and awesome toys.
