1) We don't know if that is exactly the price and 2) we are not 100% what having gaikai will mean besides no longer having to download your PS+ games in order to play them.

Edit: 3)You will be getting more than _just_ gaikai from teh sounds of it.

Well I am certain that I am not paying 89 bucks a year just to rent games. I know you keep the games you get discounts on, but still lol.

Well, re-up now and see if you want to keep it when the price goes up then.

At $50 I figgin' ecstatic with what I get. In the 3 months I've had it I've gotten:

Vanquish
R&C All4One
Gravity Rush
Uncharted Golden Abbyss
NGS+
Tales from Space
Quantum Conundrum
Outland
Closure
LBP2

and a bunch of other stuff I don't really care about. I paid for this membership a LONG time ago. Everything I get from here on out is gravy as far as I'm concerned. I'm re-upping fo-sho!

Will the same PS+ sub that I use for my ps3 be compatible with the ps4?

They shouldve called it Playstation Platinum just to mess with M$

the conversion rate right now is around 93-94 yen to the dollar. That's not the price in yen.

Yup that's true, I am not arguing the fact of the good "free" games you get. I am not paying 89 bucks a year to rent those games you listed above.

JJ4prez says:
Again, I am not paying 89 bucks a year to rent games.

Agreed, and if my experience with OnLive is indicative, I will not want to pay to stream anything to my console. Works TERRIBLY.

D_Strasse says:
So basically $50 is your "I'm ok with renting" price and $90 is your "I don't care how much they give me" price?

Thing is if I was "guaranteed" access to a brand new AAA game every month without the hassles/waiting that a service like Gamefly has, I might be tempted to do it at that price.

Soulshine says:
Include a free year with the PS4, D.demonstrate value, and a lot of people will keep paying after that.

MrFoxhound says:
Still cheaper than Gamefly.

MrFoxhound says:
They could do something like that. After all Amazon has the Kindle Lending Library and that works pretty well, and it's only 1 a month.

MrFoxhound says:
Or like 30-90 days. They don't want to go broke. Giving away a full year? I don't see that happening.

Soulshine says:
Yeah me neither. Would be nice though!

89 a year which is like 8 a month? Sure, im in. I do wonder about this line up. Are they going to offer PS4 games for "free" right at release?

Then I under how is the game trials going to work. Having the ability to stream the game for an hour then having the option to buy after that hour is up to either keep on playing it or download it straight to the system. Then I also question would the streaming only work for games that is purchased through the PSN store because someone could just buy a game use the code to have access to PSN copy and then trade it in.

I liked it. The puzzles get challenging without too much frustration.

The description sounded really neat, so I took the bait. It downloaded in a couple seconds, so is it really a short game? Like compared to maybe Limbo or Braid?
