Hey, now just because Infamous sucked doesn't mean I don't play PS3 exclusives. :p

Donnie: And that does in fact affect my decision.

LOL, nice.

Bad phrasing on my part. I simply meant that you will only play multiplats on the PS3, not the 360.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 19, 2012 1:25:05 PM PST
The two years leading up to my getting a PS3 were marked by my pretty much exclusively playing multiplats and XBLA titles. Besides, as the Benevolent Big Brother of the LEGATMIDGET I have certain expectations to live up to regarding Multiplats.

Why can't that be a thread that the necro's can keep up for those who weren't around? Have no taste, I guess.

Well, we could just necro it ourselves.

NO But that's just me. The game mechanics are great but I just get bored with this game really fast. I have tried playing it 5 times, i think once i made it to 15 minutes in one sitting. I also have a stupid backlog and i cant justify putting off those games for Rayman.
However clearly the right choice is to buy it. I bought it cause the Vast majority love this game, and you probably will to. I jumped in and looking back I really didnt need to...

You've gone and confused yourself again McFly.

whoa, I was just watching a gameplay video and it's sooooo creative. I liked the Tetris homage as well.

How is the difficulty. Is it in the same level as 3DS Mario or is it like the good old SNES. I want some thing easy :(

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 19, 2012 2:40:43 PM PST
It's nothing controller-breaking as my girls could do most everything with a little practice. It's no giveme, however.

If you want easy you should go for the Lego games.

I'd say the difficulty is perfect. It's easy enough to beat, but challenging to get 100%

Hey, if you're going for completionist, Lego games can be up there a little bit. don't be throwing around the carebear title with those.

Eh, I definitely would not call it easy. I'd say it is harder than any 2D Mario game, but it's not as bad as DKC Returns. The learning curve is pretty much perfect, it starts off easy and gets harder as it should. There are several shmup levels mixed in throughout the game too, but they are a breeze.

Now, if you want to play the true final level, that definitely takes some serious platforming skill to unlock and to complete.

Glad you bought it!

Great co-op if your wife is into platformers, too!

Eggman, PhD says:
Most definitely. Rayman Origins is probably the best platformer I've ever played.

You won't be disappointed. This game was selling for sick prices right after launch, so I figured I'd give it a try. After playing it, I can honestly say that I wouldn't have minded paying full retail for it. It's that good. The fact that the sequel is coming on Wii-U was a major reason to get a console at launch.

That is a great game, and I don't even like platformers. Enjoy it!

Ok, doesn't this game get stupid hard near the end?

I do, and I love them, lol.

I didn't think it got that hard. It got harder but never rage-quit hard.
