I was talking about the SNES game (and the GBA.)

Game Gear's the best, because I HATE BATTERIES and must drain them ALL!

That Emu Kid says:
Rule #248: If a portable version of a game has a storyline, no matter how thin or cliche, as long as it doesn't revolve around a princess being kidnapped it is considered new and exciting. Thus, God of War, LittleBigPlanet, and Killzone are always considered fresh, while Mario and Zelda will always be rehashes.

Note: the label of "rehash" established here does not override the rules of value listed in #372-375

Yeah, but not an XL. If they release a Luigi's Mansion XL bundle then I'll get the bundle.

I concur!

Nomad laughs at Game Gear's pathetic battery draining powers.

That Emu Kid says:
Last 3DS game I bought was Kid Icarus for $10, and I don't really care for it. The last game I beat on the system was Professor Layton and the Last Specter... which was a DS game. Last 3DS game I played and enjoyed was Mario 3D Land, and that came out a year ago.

Ah, gotcha.

I thought about trading in my reg for an XL, but honestly it doesn't make sense with how much I play it.

I'll keep my regular around, but only until they release a CPP for the XL. I'm hoping we see this sometime around April/May.

We should start a rule thread, that way we are all clear on the 323,203 rules we have. :)

Haha. That damn thing was a battery hog. It needed 8 batteries for like 2 hours of playtime.

I remember loving to play the Sonic games on it. My parents got me like 3 to 4 games only for it though while I had it.

MrFoxhound says:
6 batteries, but yes, they didn't last long. My parents were dumbfounded when we brought the system back to them from a fresh set of batteries about 100 minutes later and the thing was completely dead. That was on Xmas, so they didn't want to keep spending money on batteries, so the next day we went out and grabbed an AC adapter.

I, too, only had a few games for it:

Sonic 1 and 2
Batman: Returns
Aliens 3
Terminator
Alladin

They were some of the hardest games too. I never got past the middle section of level 2 in Terminator. I came close to beating Aliens 3 a couple times, but never did; Alladin was fun, but again, not really beatable for me. Batman was the only game that I could consistently beat.

I had one when I was a kid until one day my parents had a garage sale. My mom sold it and all my games for like, $12. After the garage sale I went into my room to play Mortal Kombat and it was gone. I was so upset... Turns out I set it and my game bag by the "things to sell" pile in my room.

There are only four VGF rules that matter.

We do not talk about VGF.

We do not talk about VGF.

Trust nobody.

There will be cake later. It is delicious and moist.

I just sold my 3DS yesterday for $150 here on Amazon. Apparently people did not know that the thing was on sale yesterday new for $150.

Wait... Rule 4 is a lie!

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 28, 2012 12:28:21 PM PST
Damn. It's $129.99 next week at Target.

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 28, 2012 12:28:41 PM PST
Which is why it is preceded by rule #3. Trust nobody.

I see what you did there...

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 28, 2012 12:33:09 PM PST
Yup, here's the best part. The Wednesday before Thanksgiving I had it on here for $128 and a lady bought it. I was planning on shipping it out on Monday when I worked because we have UPS here so I do all my shipping through them. She emailed me on Sunday complaining that she wanted a refund because all the other items she bought had come in. I'm sorry lady but there is a difference between buying used and new and the fact that she probably bought the stuff from Amazon. Worked for me I cancelled the order and noticed that all the used 3DS were sold during the holiday so the lowest price was 152. I put it back on for $150 and it sold in 10 minutes. I then sent an email thanking the women (who btw couldn't speak a lick of english) for making myself more money because she was so impatient and not knowledgeable to know that when you buy a used item on Amazon at 4:30 pm the day before a holiday weekend that you would not receive your item till the following week.
