Who else just plays one game at a time?

I would be bored if I could only play one game at a time. I also do not know what I will feel like playing at any given time. Maybe I don't want to take on a certain boss or a dungeon but I am up for racing a few laps or fighting some rounds.

I am in the same boat as some of these other guys. I wish things were different. When i was younger i had no money thus spent alot of free time with one game i could afford, now i have hardly any time yet alot more money so i buy a new game whenever i feel like it so don't focus on just one. It is a cruel joke life has played on me.

I tend to stick with one game at a time. They haunt me otherwise (Alice:MR, and FF13). Unless I truly hate the game (FF12). Though I will play MW3 every now and then MP for a round or two before the 360 is consigned to Sesame Street hades.

*Ed- I don't consider playing a round or 2 of a multiplayer as "playing simultaneously" with a campaign/rpg game

It really depends for me. I usually play one game at a time, but if a game I really want comes out, I will stop and start the other one.

Example, when Uncharted 3 came out I stopped playing Alan Wake to play and beat that one. I ended up coming back to Alan wake a couple months later and finishing it.

I am going to try to beat Assassins Creed Brotherhood before Mass Effect 3 comes out. However, I might stop and start ME3 and come back to AssBro later because I am too curious to see and experience the final part in Shepherd's story.

I'm sorry if comparing watching hours of Sesame Street to the fictional pits of Greek torment offended anyone. All... 2 people of you. Dang Elmo Cultists!

*Ed- 3 now. Oh you who bow to the Red Fur...

I usually have 2-4 games going that I rotate through. I play RPGs and they are like visual/action stories to me. I usually have 2-3 books going at one time too so it's not that surprising I guess : )

I do --- just like Skyrim. Played....and...played....and...played until I finished it - properly w/ most of the side missions and achievements obtained. I will have to say, after finishing Skyrim it gave me game fatiuge so I since cut down a lot. Resting until ME3 arrives.

No, but I play one type of game at a time. For instance, I'll play a Strategy RPG like Disgaea or Phantom Brave, and play a solid RPG, and maybe even an FPS/or Metal Gear Solid game/Resident Evil game at the same time. But I do have a really hard time playing multiple RPGs all at once because I'll go back to one after a week or two and totally forget what I'm doing. And with some of the older games they don't hold your hand as much so if you're lost or stuck you might have to meander around for quite a while to figure out where you are...or skim through a GameFAQ, which is always so much fun...

For me it depends on the type of game. If it is something like an rpg I will just stick to that until I finish it, but if its something like a platformer or shooter I will rotate between a few.

it depends on the game for me...if its a game that will not take long to beat..10-12 hours..then i will stay on that one game..but as far as GTA, SKyrim, Assassins Creed, then yea ill play a while then put in something else to mix it up..I put Skyrim on the backburner for now and i finished Assrev, now i will mix it up between Skyrim, Dead Island, and Batman:AC...At least up until Mass Effect 3 comes out then pretty much all my time will go to that game for a while..I also might check out Azura's Wrath but i may rent it and do a little marathon to beat..anyone knows how long it will take (no crazy answers please.)..

I usually stick to one game until I can finish it, I'll break up the longer games if I start getting bored. I have major ADD with fighting games anymore though, which sucks because I haven't taken the time to get good at any of them for quite awhile.
