In honor of the new Skyfall movie (Thanks Mogwai) what is your favorite movie.

I have to say its Casino Royale for me. I love the intense action and frantic chases, particularly the construction zone at the beginning. I also like the locations. Bond goes to Africa, a casino in Monteneggro, Italy, the Bahamas. All beautiful venues. I also am a big fan of the more tough Daniel Craig. He still has his suave moments between the girl in the Bahamas and the great dialogue with Eva Green on the train which is one of my favorite scenes in all Bond movies.

Honorable Mention: Goldfinger - I dont have to explain why this one is amazing.
Goldeneye - Maybe not the best but I really enjoyed it. It was my first Bond movie I saw in theatres.

Scoreboard

Casino Royale 7
From Russia With Love 3
Goldeneye 2
Thunderball 1
Quantum of Solace 1
The Man With the Golden Gun 1
Goldfinger 1
You Only Live Twice 1
Moonraker 1

Casino Royale here as well. Perfect spy movie, as far as I was concerned.

I hated Quantum in theatres. Was so disappointed, but bought it and watched it, then watched it again, and again and again. Now I love it. Its so frantic and the fights are brutal. My favorite part is when Bond drops down on the truck at the end and **SPOILERS** shoots the General in the car. "YOU AND I HAD A MUTUAL FRIEND!!" Bang.

You Only Live Twice was, IMO, the best pre-Craig Bond as Connery actually got to show a little emotion instead of the alcoholic, womanizing character the decade made Bond out to be, but outside of that, it's all Craig.

Really? That one was too slow for me but its more true to the Ian Flemming Novels than most of the movies. I actually really enjoyed that novel.

My favorite as a kid was Moonraker, haven't watched a Bond movie in quite awhile.

Now I forget which one I'm thinking of. Which one does Connery's girl get killed? Is it From or Twice?

Yes, the train scene is one of the best scenes ever!

Ha, yeah pretty much. That intro is so awesome, especially if you crank the stereo. The guns loading, cars revving, symphonic music building then all hell breaks loose.

Most consider Moonraker to be one of the worst Bond movies of all time. Funny to see you like it.

Probably Casino Royale, but You Only Live Twice was my favorite for a long time. I haven't seen all 22 films, though. Just a few here and there.

You could buy this and then own all 22 movies come September.

I'm tempted to say Goldeneye just for Xenia Onatopp but I'll have to say Casino Royal was the best. It's lack of both humor and gadgets was disappointing though.

Well with Skyfall we once again will have Q.

It had some humor. There was the guy blowing up with the bomb on his best and the scene where James take the girl around the block in the DB5 when he takes her to "his place"

Your place? Is it close?

Very.

He probably just wanted to have sex with her.
