Duke Nukem Forever Limited Edition

I know some people didn't like this game but the strategy guide looks pretty good from the reviews I've read. It's hardcover, 400 pages, 100 of those pages being artwork, and has a nice looking Duke Nukem logo on the front. I'm getting into collecting these strategy guides and I've ordered this one. Just a heads up.

So the strategy guide is more than the game? Makes sense...

Why would you collect a strategy guide?

They're actually well put together books. Colorful, a lot of artwork, nice covers, high quality paper, and some could actually be considered coffee table books. If you want to just read about the game, you can sit back during your leisure time, and just doing a little reading.

got the strategy guide for $9.65. been buying my strategy guides recently off of barnes and noble. cheap prices, and even cheaper prices because they offer way more coupons, on average of 15% off.

I cant see the need for a strategy guide in this sort of game.
A complex RPG like Dragon Age, Dark Souls or even Final Fantasy sure, but a mostly linear FPS...?
Besides totally ruining the experience and suprise factor, its pretty much totally unecccessary...

doesnt every game have a strategy guides?

I have a few: Batman AC, Halo Reach and Gears 3 Collector guides. I love the artwork inside them like the concept art.

@Idle Moment™, there was no surprise to that game, but I still loved every second of it. :)

@Jose Martinez, I bought the Skyrim guide because I wanted something to look at when I couldn't play it.
