The consoles could do it just fine, in fact the OP kind of hints that they had it going but MS and Sony got in the way.

With Dust 514 coming to PS3, I bet Sony rather support that right now. Shame because I've always wanted to try Tribes.

Yes, I bought it based on your recommendations right before Amalur came out, I just haven't found the time to play past the tutorial areas yet.

Very fun though, I can't decide which class to take. That's what slowed me down :)

That choice really isn't very important, the game has a classless system very similar to Amalur.

Really? Fast processing is a must for that game... the consoles don't have it. Next-gen will, hopefully.

Really? I think it looks spectacular and the gunplay is purdy fast.

Of course consoles can handle it, dialed back a considerable amount and low res. From what i gather its one of those games where 60fps is optimal.

I just can't give the game the time it deserves just yet. I've been saving this one for a dry spell, but then I got hit with betas week after week and now with D3 and GW2....

I never said it doesn't look cool.

I just don't see how it wouldn't be able to run on a console.

But then again, what do I know?

I'm not an expert in computer processing or videogame development like JJ.

Jon says:
It should be able to run on consoles fine. I know I can run it on my laptop on complete max-settings with perfect fp/s. The maps are large but its not a very graphically intensive game.

got mayo?™ says:
Well, we know it can because obviously the devs wanted to bring it to a 7yr old 360, running what is likely the equivalent of now 9 yr old graphics card...
