Funny you should ask, I picked up Demigod, Choplifter HD, Shoot Many Robots and SR3.
Shoot/Robots is a blast, the rest were good too

Just reminded me that I forgot to donate for Shadowrun.

Haven't bought any game over the weekend, but my usb extension arrived from amazon, allowing me to play my pc controller/mouse games in front of the TV. virtual console indeed.

Unit 13 is actually not too bad. I would have loved to have a story, but I already am trying to get high scores, this will be a great time waster.

I bought Blue Dragon and Dynasty Warriors Gundam for 360, for a grand total of $12. Will I ever play them? Maybe.

Aside from picking up Xenoblade at Gamestop (which was already paid for), I ordered Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition and Bayonetta from amazon.

I finally tried using my wired 360 controller on the PC this weekend to play Dead Space 2. Worked flawlessly with no issues whatsoever. Plugged it in, and it was ready to go. Awesome. In-game prompts automatically shifted to the controller face buttons and everything. Was glorious.

I pre-ordered a few stuff at PAX mostly because you got special bonuses then. I don't plan on keeping most of the pre-orders but shall see when the time comes around.

Yeah, I hear ya. I was playing the demo last night again (played it a few times) and figured I pick it up at that price, after a 30% off promo discount, when I get that itch to play a shooter on the go. One of the things I dig about the game is the random option for missions. It does a good job to switch it up with different objectives so it doesn't get stale. Definitely a good feature for replayability.

Similarly, I love having NG Sigma Plus for that reason to play a few missions when I get that itch to play it. I am already challenging myself to beat them in "hard" and get a better score. Some of them are though ridiculous to beat in hard.

Oh, I'm prepared. Actually after playing Alan Wake and Halo for a couple of hours my wife came up to me and said, "You look really dull and boring now. Have you been playing XBox?"
I replied in a robot voice, that I was unable to control, "Yes. I. have. humanoid."
"Huh," she said. "Might want to play some PS3. That always makes you more lively and sexy."

True story. Except for most of it.

As long as you're cool with RE5 NOT being survival horror, I think you'll enjoy it. I went in with the understanding that it's an action game and I love it.

Best. Story. Ever.

I need help on Professional mode (the AI partner just doesn't cut it) are you down?

mega Tron says:
Yep, I'm pretty much expecting something along the lines of RE4, which I loved.

I'm actively looking for publishers. Surprisingly, no one's interested. I guess they hate money...

Yeah dude for sure. I'm going to play through the game on Normal first, just to get a hang of it, and then I'll definitly be down for a replay in a more difficult mode. I'm guessing you've unlocked Professional mode on your side. Will I be able to drop in on your game for co-op even if I haven't unlocked it on mine?

Just seems like that's kind of against the point of the site, you know? Maybe they should rename it.

In reply to an earlier post on Apr 9, 2012 7:42:02 AM PDT
Yep, I don't know if I can give you guns or not, but I have infinite ammo rocket launchers and magnums. That's how sad the AI is that I can't hang even with those weapons. Of course the on-rail levels are maddeningly difficult. Do you have Move? The game is awesome with the motion controls.

Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity and Shogun 2: Fall of the Samurai. I bought Shogun 2 off of steam on Sunday, thinking I would be able to download it and play it in a few hours. After I bought it I looked at the size, it was 30 gigs!! That ended that assumption.

They did, actually, within the last week or two. Well, sorta. It's no longer Good Old Games, it's just GoG.
