No, "Straw Man". An argument that hinges on a technical or precise interpretation of language is not "a straw man".

A straw man is a deliberate misinterpretation of an opposing argument as a superficially similar but weaker argument in order to refute the opposing position.

[A strawman argument pretends that something false is true, so it is intellectually dishonest.]

You preteen that Mass Effect was an Exclusive to Xbox , but its not! So it is intellectually dishonest.

BTW; theres more than one definition just like many other words out there.

The game was out on one platform for a time. You couldn't play it anywhere else. What is so hard to understand?

Yes. Mass Effect was exclusive to Xbox between the dates that I posted on the earlier page. The only way to play Mass Effect between November 20th, 2007 and May 28th, 2008 was to play it on an Xbox 360.

It's not like it was even a "third party exclusive" since the game was published by Microsoft (which frequently later does PC ports of the games that it publishes, since Microsoft has an interest in the success of PC gaming.)

While Mass Effect was a also sold to PC gamers you needed Windows to play the game, so technically the game was exclusive to Microsoft either for PC gamers or Xbox 360 gamers. Mass Effect wasn't PS3 released until last year.

I'm actually just talking about the first game (titled "Mass Effect") published by Microsoft Game Studios, avaialble in North America as of November 20, 2007 on the Xbox 360. Later published by Electronic Arts on the PC on May 28, 2008.

The game "Mass Effect" has never been made available on the PS3, and likely will never be.

So just the first game you're talking about not the rest of the series, understood.
