It's timed DLC. It's not exclusive ^_^

Sony offers a one-year warranty on all consoles. If people want additional coverage (up to two extra years), it can be purchased through many parties (Best Buy, Squaretrade, Sony Corp, Wal-Mart, GameStop) for a nominal one-time fee (roughly the cost of an annual XBL subscription).

Can't argue with facts, Mr Bison.

"During many months the 360 had just a one year warranty. Many 360s RRoDed well after that.
And out of warranty."

MS made the 3 year warranty extension retroactive and offered to reimburse anyone who had paid to have a system repaired from RRoD related problems within a 3 year period after purchase. (Assuming they bought their system new, of course.)

Anyone who can say that PS3 games are "either copies of other games or just boring" hasn't played the Yakuza games... or practically any other exclusive they've got. Yakuza 3 is maybe my favorite game this generation. Try it before you knock it.

Who knows, you might think it's more original and interesting than yet another FPS.

Am I kidding? That's what the emoticon was supposed to imply, yes.

I just thought it was funny that you basically said "People say PS3 games are all copies of other games, but look at this game that the third game in a franchise!" Since nothing says originality like "iteration."

that's why I edited my comment, I realized that sarcasm fails on interwebs. my bad.

But really, the undersung action/rpgs of this generation are the Yakuza games, and they deserve more love critically and otherwise.

but when it comes to a sequel being original, there's a ton of examples of it. After all, Grand Theft Auto III is "just a sequel" to part 2... and I actually do think Yakuza 3 comes near that level of difference. It's an amazing game, and almost nobody I've met has actually played it, especially the people who like to get excited about console war nonsense.

If you are exclusively a console gamer, the is one strong reason to own a 360 right now. It's called "Minecraft".

and if you're exclusively a console gamer who doesn't own a 360, the suggestion of buying a 360 just to play Minecraft is ludicrous. It runs on your phone.

@Dan

About the copy-cat games PS3 has. You can say a lot of the consoles copy and what not from each other. But if you haven't tried the Uncharted or Resistance series for PS3 you're really missing out on a couple of really great exclusives in my opinion. I like both systems, but prefer PS3 for their exclusives (just not a Gears fan, tried it and not my thing).

"Looks like it's going to be the year of the PS3! (again)."

Well its certainly not your year again, when your trolling is this lame.
